Y/n POV
The music was still going as we left the pub. Me and Bucky were laughing as we ran into the rain. Bucky got in a fight with someone at the bar, he was about to get beat up if it wasn't for me grabbing his hand and running out. We stopped in the parking lot, only a few street lamps were lit so that we could see the ground. There were almost no cars so we had the entire parking lot to run around in. I loved the rain, especially the sound and the smell. By now, my ever so perfectly placed curles had fallen out and my hair became frizzy and wet. I was jumping in the puddles when Bucky grabbed my arm, pulled me in for a kiss, wrapped his arms around my waist, as I put my hands on his cold wet face. Once he released, the next song started to play from inside the pub, I leaned my head on his chest as we slowly danced in the rain. After our dance in the rain, we walked to Bucky's car, he opened the door for me, like always. We found ourselves sitting in the car in silence, again.
We pulled up to Bucky's house one last time together, he opened the car door for me to get out, one last time. We walked up the stairs to his apartment, my arm linked with his, he fiddled with the key to unlock his front door, we walked inside together. One last time. He took off my jacket, we both took off our shoes, I followed him to the couch, our hands intertwined, one last time. Bucky sat on the couch, followed by me, resting my head on his legs.
One last time.
"I love you Y/n" Bucky told me, his voice was tired and slow
"I love you too, James Barnes" I whispered, with that my eyes closed, and I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up, in Buckys bed, alone. I was in one of his shirts. I knew he had left but part of me wished he had stayed. I remembered him telling me goodbye earlier that morning, I was tired though so I couldn't decide if it was a dream or not. My head was throbbing when I stood up.
He was gone, my everything was gone, and who knew if he was coming back.
I walked out of his bedroom to find a note on the small two person table.
It wrote:
Dear Y/n,
I cannot express how hard it was for me to leave you this morning, I just wanted to tell you how much I love you and that every day till I come home I will be thinking about you. Every morning, and every night, and everywhere in between, it's you and me. The fact that I'm writing you this and that I'll be gone when you're reading this hurts me, somewhere in England I'll be thinking of you. I miss you already. I love you so much.
Until we meet again.
Bucky, you're one true love
The last line made me smile, "you're one true love" he said that to me when I was 16, the cocky Bucky always flirting,

"What?" I asked
"That's me" he said pointing to the large screen with the prince carrying snow white away
