Sergeant Barnes,
*the flashback begins*
The voice of Y/n yelling out to Bucky as he falls from the Tran is echoed through the memory of him waking up in a room with his metal arm. And flashbacks of him and Y/n. "Because I love you!" Is heard as he sees things of his past.
*the flashback ends*
"Mission report" Pierce says, Bucky doesn't respond. Pierce repeats himself "mission report!" When Bucky doesn't respond, Pierce slaps him across the face. Bucky doesn't even flinch and asks, "that girl, the y/h/c (your hair color) one. I've seen her before."
"You probably saw her on a previous mission"
"No, no, I knew her"
"Your work has been a gift to mankind. You shaped the century, and I need you to do it one more time. Society is at a tipping point between order and chaos. Tomorrow morning we're gonna give it a push. But, if you don't do your part, I can't do mine, and HYDRA can't give the world the freedom it deserves."
"But I knew her" he said before being put back under, memory totally lost.
