Cor

I let out a laugh as I set beside Gladio and the boys. It wasn't unusual for me to go hunting with them. I normally meet up with them after I was finished with a mission so I could take a break and relax.

"So how's things with Cor the Immortal?" Gladio asked with a smirk.

I let out a cough and covered my mouth.

"Um... it's... fun working with him." I said calmly.

"Cut the crap we know you and him are a thing." Noctis said with a chuckle.

"Actually, we aren't." I said as I cleared my throat.

"Seriously?"

"Yea, I mean I've dropped hint after hint that I like him, but the man can't get it through his thick skull." I said with a sigh.

"Make him jealous." Ignis said calmly.

We all looked at him shocked and he shook his head.

"Cor is a possessive man, I'm sure I'd you were to flirt with someone he would get jealous and realize he has feelings for you." Ignis explained.

"I volunteer." Gladio said quickly.

"Really?" I asked with a laugh.

"What can I say I like pissing him off." He said with a chuckle.

I rolled my eyes and decided to go along with their stupid plan. When I returned back to base Cor was waiting for me.

"How did the mission go?" He asked calmly.

"It was good. Went by quickly." I said as I stopped in front of him.

"Then why did it take you so long to get back?"

"I was busy with the boys and Gladio." I said calmly.

"I see. How are they doing?" He asked as we walked inside.

"Good." I said with a laugh.

I shook my head and smiled softly.

"You seem happy?"

"Oh, Gladio asked me out." I explained.

"Isn't he... a little young for you?" He asked with a frown.

"What you jealous he asked first?" I asked with a wink.

"No, simply stating a fact. He is half your age."

"Are you calling me old?"

"I... I'm just saying it wouldn't work out. Not to mention Gladio is from a royal bloodline and-"

"And I'm not."

"(Y/n)-"

"No, I understand..... I wouldn't survive with someone who was wealthy because I'm from a poor family." I said as I pushed past him.

I slammed my door shut and grabbed my pillow and screamed into it. My phone went off and I quickly answered it.

"So how did it go?" Gladio asked with a chuckle.

"I'm to old! And because I come from a poor family! Rich people wouldn't hit on me! Can you believe him!" I yelled as I threw my phone onto the bed after putting it on speaker.

"I knew Dad said Cor was bad with women, but... I didn't think he was that bad." He said calmly.

"I was fine with the age! I mean yes you are way to young for me! But just because I was raised differently doesn't change who I am!"

I grabbed a tank top and shorts and changed into them.

"Is that (Y/n)?" A deep voice asked.

"Yea pops. Cor fucked up." Gladio said calmly.

"He normally does around beautiful women he likes." Clarus said with a chuckle.

"Beautiful women he likes?" I asked with a frown.

"Oh yea, Cor has it bad for you. You should hear him talk about you to me and Regis. Oh she is so amazing... I wish I could talk to her... stuff like that." He said calmly.

"He thinks I'm amazing?"

"And then some.... look Cor sucks when it involves emotions. He wasn't truest allowed to use his emotions growing up. He had very strict parents."

"I know the feeling. My parents wanted me to be in the kinglaive so badly they tried to lie and say I was a man." I said with a frown.

"Then you understand why it's so hard for him. Talk to him." He said calmly.

"Alright, I will. Thanks Clarus, you're a good friend." I said softly.

"Don't tell Cor. He would have a field day if he knew I cared bout him." He said before hanging up.

I let out a sigh and finished changing before walking towards my door. I opened it up and nearly bumped into Cor.

"Cor, why are you here?" I asked shocked.

"I owe you an apology. I didn't mean to insult you, I just-"

"It's fine. I'm not mad." I said softly.

"I was just trying to look out for you... Gladio is a good man, but I would hate for him to hurt you." He said calmly.

"I don't like him like that." I said softly.

"Oh."

"Which I was going to tell you. See I like someone else... someone closer to my age... and close to Gladio." I said softly.

"I hate to tell you this, but Clarus is married."

"I'm talking about you." I said with a laugh.

"Me?"

"Yes, I like you and I know you probably don't like me, but I wanted to get it off my-"

I was quickly cut off by him grabbing my face and pulling me into a kiss. He instantly pulled away and looked at me shocked.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to-"

I quickly pulled him into another kiss and allowed him to lead me back into my room.
