Cameron's POV:

For the last week Hayden has ignored Nate. Knowing that he would try to do anything to have her. Today, Hayden wanted to go over to Cameron's, leaving Nash and the others to do something else without them. Their relationship, or whatever this is, has been kept a secret. Nate knew, though which hurt Hayden, but there was nothing for her to do. Cameron stands by the window, watching his girlfriend stare at the others.

He stands and turns her around. Pulling her in his arms and wrapping his arms around her hips. Hayden smiles at Cameron and kisses his cheek lightly. The front door opened, and everyone piled in. Nate's eyes three daggers at the two. Hayden pulled away from the embrace.

Hayden's POV:

"Hayden, go home," is all Sam says before trying to push me out of the house.

"Sam, what's happening?"

"Nate's jealous."

"He broke up with me. It's not my fault I don't feel the same anymore."

I see Nate go to punch Cameron.

"Nathan Montgomery Maloley, stop!"

That got his attention. Cameron stares at me in shock. Nate walks over and pushes Sam away.

"Nate, you can't break up with me, and then try to beat up Cameron. I don't care if you're jealous. Back off!" I say firmly.

He just smirks and rests his hand above my head. Damn height advantage.

"Or what, Hayden? You can't hurt me. You're not violent. You're scared," he spits at me while the others watch.

"You're right I'm scared. Are you going to hurt me, Nate? Huh? Sam's right there. So are the others."

He grips my wrist and brings me outside and into his car. Shutting the door and locking them. My heart was beating so loud I think he can hear. Nate is beyond pissed at me, and I have to stay strong.

Nate's hand still grips my wrist. I bite my lip, so he doesn't know the pain.

"Nate, you broke up with me, I don't have to answer to you anymore. I should've never taken you back before we moved here."

"You think that hurts me, huh? It doesn't. You can't hurt me, cause you're just a shallow bitch who only cries. No one cared about you in high school and no one cares now. So move back with your mommy and daddy. Oh wait he's not your real dad."

That made me lose my cool. I slapped him hard and unlocked the door.

"Go to hell, Nate."

I slammed the door and went to my house. I opened the door and slammed it shut. I wipe my face as tears fall. He took it too far. He hit a nerve that I didn't want to get in the way. I go to my room and shut the door. Locking it behind me, and sliding down the wall.

Nate's POV:

"Nate, you broke up with me, I don't have to answer to you anymore. I should've never taken you back before we moved here."

"You think that hurts me, huh? It doesn't. You can't hurt me, cause you're just a shallow bitch who only cries. No one cared about you in high school and no one cares now. So move back with your mommy and daddy. Oh wait he's not your real dad."

Nate's an idiot. He saw her wall fall down as soon as the words left his mouth. He deserved what she did. He hurt her. Which he never intended to do. The others came out, and saw him leaning against the car.

"What did you say," Sam yelled the question.

He hesitated before speaking, "I called her a shallow bitch, and I brought up her dad."

Cameron was the first to follow the steps she took. Sam looked furious and Nate was ready for whatever came his way. What she said didn't hurt as much as what he did.

"What the hell is wrong with you? What else did you say, Nate," Johnson said, not allowing Sam to speak.

"I said no one cared in high school or now."

He looks at his best friend. The fury in Sam's face said it all.

"She tried so many times to accept that you couldn't care as much as she did. You hurt her, Nate. I don't ever want you near my sister again," Sam spits before going to join cameron.

Cameron's POV:

"Baby open the door," he whispers.

"Go away," she says with her voice cracking.

His heart hurt. She's trying not to cry.

"He's not coming in I promise, Hayden. Please."

"No," she whispers, with her voice cracking again, "Cameron, go, please. I need to be alone."

"I won't allow it, Hayden."

Sam comes up the stairs. Looking at Cameron leaning against the door.

"Hayden," Sam says.

"Just go," she cries.

"Hayden, I can't do that. You'll hurt yourself, and I can't watch you panic again. Let Cameron or I in."

"Is Nate in the house?"

"No, just us three. Jack and Jack won't let him in."

He can hear her stand, and unlock the door. Hayden keeps her head down. She sits on the bed, and let's Cameron sit on her right, and Sam on her left.

"Hey, beautiful, look at me," Cameron says.

She lifts her head and looks at him. Black tear stains stain her cheeks. He embraces her. Sam looks at Cameron.

"I'll leave you two," he says and leaves. Shutting the door lightly.

"Let me clean my face," she sniffles.

Hayden walks to the bathroom. He watches as she takes her makeup remover to her face. She walks back in.

"You look so tired, Hayden. C'mon, let's take a nap."

She nods and let's Cameron lead her to the bed, and she lies on her bed, and Cameron climbs in, pulling the blanket up, and around them. Hayden lays in his arms. He watches as her eyes slowly close, and she falls asleep.
