Hayden's POV:

It's almost as if that night never happened, and nate and I were never together. They were still gone, but Cameron and I had become closer. In the same way Nate and I were. Nash hates it. Seeing me with anyone but him. My eyes linger on the text Nate sent two days ago. I've had yet to reply.

I'm sorry, baby. Please give me one more chance.

Cameron was out working on his movie, while Nash was doing something else, I stayed home. They return today, and I'm not ready for Nate to come barging in expecting me to take him back. The front door opened, and when I turn I see Nash, the Jacks, Sam and Nate come in. My heart had dropped, and I quickly looked away. I slipped into the kitchen, feeling an unbearable weight on my shoulders. Soon enough, I felt hands lingering on my waist. Nate.

I turn around to look at him. His brown eyes stared at me steadily.

"Hayden, please. Let's talk this through."

"There's nothing to talk about, Nate. You broke my heart and I'm not ready to let you walk into my life!"

"Are you with Cameron?"

"I don't have to answer you, Nate."

He looked angry, but knew I was right and let me go. I shove him into the island in the kitchen. I saw him reach out, only to pull back. I shut my eyes and walk past the others as they absentmindedly ignored me. Except Nash. He followed me to my room, and shut the door. Cameron and I weren't together. Nash and I would never be together even if he wanted it.

"Hm, Nate's back, and you still hate the world."

"Fuck off, asshole. I don't have time for this," I mutter.

Nash's blue turn darker, and he pushes me against the wall again.

"Hayden, stop sassing," he hisses at me.

"I'm not scared of you, Nash. I'm not scared of Nate either, so leave me the hell alone."

He presses his lips to mine and I try to shove him off. It doesn't work as he holds my hands at my sides.

"Grier!" I hear Cameron say.

Nash pulls away and puts his hands up in defeat. Cameron looks at me, smiling like an idiot, as he walks closer to me. I smile at him. Cameron rests his forehead against mine, and presses his lips softly on mine. My arms wrap around his neck. Cameron smiles against my lips.

Nate's POV:

Nate went to talk to hear, and get one more chance. Nash breezed past him from her room. When he looks in, Nate's heart broke. Cameron had her pressed to the wall, and she enjoyed it.

"Cameron-"

Nate watches as he pulls away, and nods.

"I know, you don't want to rush anything."

Cameron looks out the door and sees Nate. His eyes widens as he pulls away, and leaves the room.

"Cameron," Hayden asks and then she looks at Nate.

He walks in the room and her gaze drops to the floor. Nate shuts the door softly and memories from their fight.

"Nate, I'm not taking you back," she says calmly, but not looking at him.

"Hayden, will you please listen to my side of the story?"

Her gaze lifted.

"It's only fair."

"Thank you," Nate whispers as he sits beside the brunette who stills has his heart.

"I did kiss her, I will say that. You left, and I went to find you. I saw you sitting on the porch again, so I knew you wanted space. Natalie somehow got to the party, and got me drunk. I know Nash told you otherwise. I was stupid enough to believe you were her. They forced me to play truth or dare, and I picked dare. They had me kiss her. When I heard you speak, my heart dropped, and I knew I screwed up. You ran and I didn't know what to do. It's no excuse for hurting you, but you needed to know," Nate says staring into her eyes.

"Seeing you kiss my best friend hurts, but I know that I need to move on," he whispers.

Hayden's eyes stared at him.

"I'm sorry I didn't listen to you first," Hayden says, "but I-I can't take you back. There's too many people who want us apart."

Nate nods and kisses her cheek. Hayden's face reddens. Nate leaves, knowing she finally knows the truth of that night.

Hayden's POV:

I watch as Nate leaves. Nash lied. Nate was drunk and that changed everything. Nate didn't know Natalie was there and it seems as if Nash and Natalie worked together to get their ways.

"Hayden," I hear Nash ask.

I look at him, and I just glare. He smirks.

"Why did you have to break us up? Huh? Nash I was fucking happy, you prick!"

"Nate didn't deserve you. We all know how much he hurt you. Why did you let him back in anyway? He cheated on you," Nash laughs.

"Get out!"

"Or what, Princess?" He smirks as he walks closer.

Nash brings my body to his. I push him off.

"Leave me alone, Nash! Get a clue! I don't want you! You're an egotistical jerk," I yell and smack him hard.

My eyes widen. I stepped back, and his gaze just followed me. I've never hit someone. Let alone someone who is physically stronger than me. Nash just storms out
