I wanted to check in on Lexi, just to see how she was doing. We use to talk everyday, then it went to every other day, then it went to once a week, now I'm lucky if we even say good morning or goodnight. I had a minute before I had to go rehearse so I called her.
(L-Lexi J-Jonah)
L- hey Jojo, what's up?
J- hey- nothing much, I just had a minute before I had to go to rehearsal so I decided to call you. How have you been?
L- I've been good, I'm pooping right now but I have tea
J- what's up?
L- well, Garrett and I almost had sex
I felt my heart drop
L- but we didn't because it didn't feel right. Like it just felt like he wasn't the one you know?
J- yeah
I felt relieved
L- then I thought Kay was pulling a Rebecca but it was really all just part of a joke to gift me a car
J- a 2019 silver Dodge Charger?
L- yup, that one
J- no way
L- yes way, but what's been going on with you?
J- what do you mean?
L- well, we haven't talked in a while so I wanted to know what you were busy with
J- just rehearsals and concerts, the usual, nothing really interesting happened except for a fan kissing Zach
L- wait what...?
J- don't worry, he already told Kay but they both don't wanna talk about it and they told the guys and I to keep it a secret from everyone but that doesn't include my bestfriend
L- ya damn skippy
J- he cried
L- hahahaha he cried!?
J- yeah, he was freaking out, he didn't know how to tell Kay, he felt so bad
L- understandable
J- but hey, on the brighter side of things. We only have a few more months left of tour
L- that's great because I've really been in need of my bestie
J- same, but I gotta go, it's time for rehearsal. I love you
L- I love you too
J- forever?
L- always
Then I hung up with a smile. "Hey, we gotta get s-"
Zach stopped. "Did you just get off the phone with Lexi?" He asked. I looked up at him. "What? Oh yeah, let's go" I nodded. I put my phone away and headed into the studio.
Lexi
I had to sit in my car to tell Jonah the Garrett thing. I don't know how to tell him. It was probably nothing. If we end up in the same situation again, I'm sure I'll actually want to do it. I got out of my car and walked back into the house. It was quiet. That's not normal. I looked around confused. No one was downstairs. I checked the backyard, no one was there either.
I went upstairs to see if everyone was in their room or something but no, no one was here. I heard a noise coming from downstairs. Not thinking anything of it, I walked downstairs. I followed the noise and saw that it was coming from the laundry room. I opened the door and shut it as quickly as I opened it. Olivia and Patrick were having sex. That's a sight I can never unsee.
I awkwardly walked back out to the living room and sat on the couch. It's really quiet here. I knew it wouldn't be if I had gone with the guys. But it's too late now, I couldn't leave these guys even if I wanted to. Plus, I live here now. I was kind of curious where everyone went. No one mentioned that they were leaving, especially not Garrett. Then I got even more confused. Patrick's here.
Usually when Garrett leaves, he's going somewhere with Patrick. I decided to call him out of curiosity. He answered.
(G- Garrett L- Lexi)
G- what
L- hi babe, I didn't know you left so I just wanted call and see where you were
G- why
L- just to see if everything was okay?
G- I'm fine
L- Uh okay, where are you?
G- out
L- haha I know that but-
G- look I gotta go, I'll see you when I get back
L- oh ok, I love you
G- you too bye
He hung up. The hell was that? Olivia and Patrick came out of the laundry room. "What's with the puzzled look?" Olivia asked. I thought about telling them but decided not to. "Nothing, was the pull out good?" I asked. "You know it" Patrick nodded. We first bumped. Olivia shook her head and laughed. "Do you know where Garrett went?" I asked. "He left again?" Patrick asked.
"That's what I'm saying, I didn't even know he was gone- again?" I questioned. "Yeah, he left last night. Did you call him?" Olivia asked. "Yeah, but he didn't say where he was. I thought he slept at his house last night?" I shrugged. Olivia and Patrick looked at each other confused. "I'm sure it's nothing" they both shook their heads. Then they turned to walk away. It's definitely something, they just don't want me to worry. I trust him.
I'll be fine. We'll be fine. He's gonna come home and we're gonna cuddle and go to sleep. I smiled just thinking about him. I sat on the couch waiting for him. "Hey girly, whatcha doin?" Larray asked as he walked in. "Nothing, just waiting for Garrett" I smiled at him. "Okay, well imma head up to my room" Larray pat my shoulder and went upstairs. I sighed and continued sitting.
Over the hours, the rest of the hype house members were coming in. Some sat with me but eventually got up and went upstairs. Everyone was home now except for Garrett. I continued waiting. Garrett never came home. I stayed up waiting for him but I eventually fell asleep. I woke up to the sound of someone unlocking the door. I noticed it was bright outside so I couldn't have been asleep long.
Then I thought about it. I fell asleep at 4 in the morning?
