we're back in LA after a long car ride of Garrett trying to make me feel better. For the time being it work, we were laughing the entire car ride. But the pain never really goes away, does it?
Garrett went to Wal-Mart. I looked at him confused. He parked and got out. He came around and opened my door. "Come on" he laughed when he noticed that I wouldn't get out of the car. He held his hand out, I grabbed it and stood up out of the car. He shut the door behind me and we headed into the store holding hands.
Garrett grabbed a cart, picked me up and set me down inside. "Pick out whatever face masks, snacks, blankets and pillows you want" Garrett smiled pushing me into the store. I looked up at him and smiled. Garrett pushed me towards the pastry isles and I grabbed 2 things of sugar cookies and cupcakes. I even got 2 big ass ice cream cakes to thank the whole house for everything they've done for me.
He made sure that was all I wanted and pushed me towards the fruits. I ended up getting 2 pineapples, the ones that look like spongebobs house, and then I grabbed a few containers of already cut ones. I grabbed pears, grapes, watermelon, melon and honeydew. Garrett pushed me down countless isles and I grabbed whatever I wanted.
"Now it's my turn" Garrett smiled. He pushed me towards the stuffed animals and grabbed damn near every single one he saw. Then he went into the section of Wal-Mart that had the giant bears. He looked at me, then looked at the bears. He walked over and PAID ATTENTION TO WHICH ONE HE SHOULD GET ME. He literally individually inspected them until he found the one he liked that he knew I'd like.
He came back over to the cart and smiled as he handed me the bear. I smiled at him. "That's the one I was eyeing when we first walked in" I smiled. Garrett smiled and kissed my forehead. So in all, I'm stocked up on food now, I have toilet paper, face masks, make up wipes, I got Garrett and I matching pajamas that I'm gonna make him wear one day, a giant furry grey blanket, a long, giant furry grey pillow and that's all I think.
It sound like a lot but it wasn't. Even Garrett was surprised I didn't get more. But without Garrett knowing, I switched my card out with his so he didn't have to pay. Garrett got to the check out isles and as the cashier was ringing us up, Garrett stood there waiting to pay. I started grabbing the bags as I watched him swipe my card. Once he finished paying, he went to put the card back in his pocket but before he could, I grabbed it and handed him his back.
I smiled innocently as Garrett glared at me. "Why won't you let me pay for you? And when did you even do that?" He laughed. "I won't let you pay because I don't like having money spent on me and I swapped the cards while you were picking out a bear" I smiled. Garrett rolled his eyes and smiled while pushing me towards the exit.
Garrett pushed me out to the car and started unloading the bags. I got out and helped him, and once we finished, Garrett picked me up and put me back in the cart. "What are you doing?" I laughed. "Pose for the camera" Garrett smiled.
