"Why the hell didn't you contact me sooner, she's my niece," Tony's voice said loudly as I felt myself drawing a little more into reality.
"She's dangerous," Nick said as I kept my eyes closed, wanting to hear what he had to say.
"She's twenty one, she's not a danger to anyone," Nat said quietly.
"She's not normal."
"Not normal, what do you mean not normal," Tony asked as I could feel my anger boiling as I felt the temperature around me dropping.
"She's a mutant, and a dangerous one at that, she has no control over her abilities," Pierce spat as he walked into the room.
"I know she has abilities, I have for a long time I was just too scared to tell her, I wanted her to live a semi normal life for her sake," Tony sighed as I felt his hand in mine.
"We have a facility that helps people like her, people with rare and dangerous abilities like hers," Pierce said as Tony's hand slipped from mine, and I opened my eyes, sitting up from the metal table as I got off the table, walking over to Pierce.
"I'm not dangerous, I can help people, I just need to learn more about my abilities," I said sternly as Tony placed a gentle hand on my shoulder.
"Been knocked out for a week and sarcastic and ordering as soon as your eyes open," Fury chuckled as I smirked.
"Well I am a Stark," I said sarcastically as I turned around, hugging Tony like it was the last time I would ever see him again.
"In the pictures on file my mother had frost bite markings on her arms, and when I touched the spot she was found I got similar markings, but they seemed natural, and I'm still alive, Nat said she only saw red marks in the photos, until now. I updated Quinn as soon as I woke up, and now that I scanned it.... look," I said a few hours later as we stood in a meeting room.
"It looks like she's covered in.... frost, and some type of ancient markings, but what do they mean," Pepper asked as she stood next to Tony and Nat.
"I don't know, but I think it has something to do with that," I said as I pulled up the Tesseract files.
"It has similar markings, and the thing that happened last year with Goldilocks, the circle has almost the exact same markings. I think it's Norse, but I would need to see Selvig before I'm sure," I said as I held my tablet in my hands while eating a Twizzlers.
"I can get you a flight for tonight," Fury said as I nodded.
"Sir, we just got a call, I think you should see this," Coulson said with worry as we all walked at a quick pace.
"Did you do something after you left earlier," Tony asked quietly as I shook my head, my eyes meeting his brown ones to show him I was being honest. I was a pretty good liar, but I never liked lying to Tony, I mean he raised me, and yeah there were plenty of times I was busted, but he always took care of it well. Usually I would get in trouble, but after a few hours he would come back into my room, and we would talk. I honestly don't know what I would do if anything was to ever happen to him at this point in my life. Even though Tony was a playboy, and an alcoholic he always made sure I was first, whether it was by sending a sober Pepper to play games, watch movies or have fun, or sending Happy over, or giving me a new project to tinker with, or sometimes, but very rarely letting me go to parties with him. The press knew who I was, and it was going to be hard to keep my abilities a secret when there's a pap or a reporter everywhere you go.
"Is that-"
"Captain Steve Rogers," Tony finished as I saw the block of ice containing a man in front of me.
