TW: MENTIONS OF SUICIDE, CUTTING, BULLYING

"Seriously, again," I yelled when I woke up in chains on the top of Stark Tower.

"Loki let me go," I said as he walked towards me, and the chains disappeared so I scrambled to my feet.

"What do you want with me," I asked as he smiled gently, his eyes the emerald green.

"I want to show you what you're capable of," he smiled as I looked him directly in the eyes.

  "Why?"

"Because you are more powerful than you could have ever imagined, you're the Goddess of Empathy," he said as I bent over laughing.

"Empathy, really, that's a great joke try telling Tony he's the God of Kindness," I laughed as I saw his face was unamused.

"Oh, you're serious," I said as I stopped laughing.

"Yes, and I know you've felt it in the past. You can feel, and take other people's physical and mental pain," he said as I looked over the city.

"I've felt pain my whole life, I always just found a way to block it out, and I didn't care about how it effected those around me until a few years ago," I said as tears filled my eyes.

"I was always bullied in school, you're too fat, you're too skinny. Put some makeup on you look ugly. Don't wear so much makeup. Have some fun, get drunk with us, have a cigarette, that's just how my life was," I said as I rolled up my sleeves.

"When they weren't bullying me the boys were trying to get in my pants, and it took it's toll," I said as I traced the deep scars on my arms.

"What happened that changed your perspective," he asked with sadness in his tone as he walked towards me, tracing my arms.

"Tony found me in my room one day, he had no idea I was doing it to myself. He rushed me to his lab, and stitched up my arms. He begged me not to hurt myself, and was telling me how much he needed me the entire time."

  "What did you do afterwards?"

"I became captain of the cheer squad, started skateboarding, worked with Tony a lot which we both enjoy," I smiled as he sighed.

"None of this would have happened if she was around," he said as he looked into my eyes, asking for permission as he slowly moved closer, hugging me.

"I'm so sorry Jessica, I never wanted any of this to happen to you," he said as I hugged back, feeling an odd sense of safety.

"I want you to think back on all the things people have done wrong to you. Harness that anger, the sadness, the pain, and use it to control," he said as I moved back, nodding before taking a deep breath as I closed my eyes, and thought about it for a few seconds, pulling my strongest emotions to the front of my mind.

"You're just a pathetic girl who has a famous uncle and dead parents, what could you possibly do to change the world," the words that rang through my head of the boy that always bullied me, but hurt the most rang as I screamed, letting out a large burst of green energy that spread for miles.

"What was that," I asked looking at the green glowing around my hands.

"That was you awakening the true power in you," he smiled as I smiled the green fading, and coming back as I moved things on the roof around.

"I didn't know I had that much power," I said as I looked around.

"Now you can control it," he said with a smirk as I smirked back.
