"When we talked earlier, what did you mean by making tough decisions," Steve asked as we took the long walk from the landing grounds to the Triskelion.

"I don't really talk about it," I said as he looked at me curiously, and I finally gave in.

"My mom died when I was a baby, and my uncle raised me, but my uncle is also a hero. When he first became Iron Man I lived in Miami Florida, but he moved me to Malibu since that location was safer, and I lost all my friends. Luckily I was sixteen so I got right back to normal, captain of the cheer squad, basketball team, and theatre, it was my life. I was in the spotlight from the time I was little, and honestly I hated it, but the real reason we left Miami was because I was out with a friend one night, and I had to make a choice to save her, or give myself up, and I don't know what would have happened honestly, but I...I uh killed the guy before he could hurt her," I said with tears glossing my eyes as the fear of that night flooded my mind.

"I hate being followed everywhere I go, and I just wish I had a normal life," I sighed as he nodded.

"I was a normal boy from Brooklyn, look at me now. Waking up seventy years after I crash a plane into the ocean. People like us, we're the reason people have hope, we're the reason that people help others, because they want to be like us."

"Nobody wants to be like me, trust me," I said with a sarcastic laugh as the large glass doors opened, and we walked inside.

"Jarvis, what's Tony's location," I asked since I used them both to connect with Tony when I didn't have any other way.

"He's on a flight to California Miss Stark, just as you asked him to be."

"Well that's a first," I grinned as we walked to the training room.

"Nat, have you been training for the last three and a half hours," I laughed as she nodded, stopping her assault on the red punching bag.

"No, I had stuff to do too," she said as she walked towards Steve and I.

"Captain," she said with a firm handshake as he looked at me again. He was looking at me for reassurance whenever he was unsure, how peculiar.

"Steve this is Natasha Romanoff, and Nat you already know who he is," I smiled as he nodded firmly.

"Did Fury send you for sparring," she asked as I nodded.

"Almost twenty two, and he has flown me all over the country, and wants me to train in one day," she laughed as I shrugged.

"Do you need gloves," Steve asked as I took my t-shirt off so I was in my workout shirt underneath.

"Nah, I've got better resources," I winked as I walked towards Nat full speed as she lunged back, and I teleported behind her as she fell forwards, blowing hair out of her face.

"And they said I couldn't control my powers," I smirked as she tried a different way this time, going to hit me when I turned my back, but I turned around at lightning speed, catching her hands.

"That's new," both of us laughed as she kicked my feet out from under me, and pinned me down.

"Are we really doing this again," I grinned as I instead of using my powers took my hips, lifting them, and kicking my feet up like I would in cheerleading as I flipped us over so I was now on top, pinning her to the mats.

"Are you sure you weren't trained before now," she huffed out of exasperation as I helped her up.

"Not at all, wanna go again?"

"Let Rogers have a go, you're also really strong," she admitted as I laughed a true laugh while putting her shoulder back in place.

"Steve, you want to go a round?"
