It's been two days since I was brought inside this place with Wanda and Pietro who turned out to be some of the nicest...well only people I remember ever meeting. It felt like home, and Wanda and I had grown close in only forty eight hours.
"Anna, it's time for breakfast," she called as I sat on my bed, reading a book I had found in english.
"I'll be down in a minute Wanda," I yelled back as she came into my room.
"Strucker wishes to speak with you so he wants you down there now," she said as I sighed, putting down the Harry Potter book I was reading.
"Fine, I'm coming," I said as she nodded, and we walked down to the small room to collect our breakfast trays consisting of terrible tasting food, but I was grateful.
"Wanda said you wished to speak with me," I said as I approached the man standing by a window.
"You're aware of how Wanda and Pietro got their abilities correct?"
"Yes sir I was actually meaning to talk to you about that."
"Speak then," he said as I let out a small breath before speaking.
"I'd like to volunteer as they did."
"You're aware very few have survived?"
"Yes sir, but I'm willing to do it as a thank you, to further your research of course," I said as he nodded.
"We do it now then," he said as I looked at him in shock as he called a guard over.
"Prepare her for the experiment," he said as the guard led me to a room with a metal door.
"Wait here until he contacts me," he smiled as I nodded, and waited for about twenty minutes before he called me in.
"What do I do?"
"Walk up to it, touch the blue orb, and we'll go from there," he said as I took a deep breath before walking up to it, my bare feet touching the cold floor as I slowly walked to it. As soon as my fingers brushed it, it shattered, flinging me backwards as I could hear some voice coming from it, but I couldn't make out who it was.
"Get her out and check her vitals," Strucker said as I waved my hand, and the power went out. I walked towards the staff, grabbing it as an outfit covered me.
"What the hell," I said as I saw the gold and green circling me in rings.
"What did you do," Strucker yelled at a man as I grabbed the staff, and a burst of magic came out of my chest, a woman looking at me with a gentle smile in a haze of the green magic.
"Mom," I asked as memories flooded back, and her hand gently touched my face.
"I know you'll do what is right, you're strong and kind in every way....just know that I loved you from the moment I held you until the last time I touched you. Go get em princess," she said as she faded away, and I found people surrounding me as I fell to the ground.
"Take her to the room," Strucker said as I already knew what he meant, but I was wrong. The men threw me into an empty stone room as I hit the wall, and tried to use my powers again, but to no avail.
"Tony, Tony please find me....please," I shivered as the cold nipped at me, and I tried to think of a good side, but there wasn't one.
"Get up," Strucker yelled at me about 4 months later. He had forced me to be a ragdoll for the twins, and I was getting sick everyday. I knew I was pregnant, but I couldn't let him find out. The twins wanted to help me at first, but after he told them I was a Stark that stopped. Today was the day I kept telling myself all night, and I was right, just not how I expected.
"Where- where am I," I questioned fakely as he looked down at me, and grabbed my arm, pulling me up.
"Take her to the chair," he ordered as I sighed to myself as they took me to the dreaded chair, knowing I couldn't fight them with the little energy I had.
"Wanda please," I begged as she stood in the corner with Pietro, and tears ran down my face.
"Your uncle killed our parents, this isn't even close to payback," she spat, holding my chin between her fingers as I breathed heavily.
"Start it up," one of the men said as I was shoved into the chair, and my mind was wiped clean.
