"n/n, where did you go the other night? you left and like disappeared."
"i went out, i already told you that."
"but with who?"
he pressed, making me even more irritated,
"just drop it 'tsumu. it's none of your concern."
"come onnn"
he whined
"i won't say anything!"
"that's the most bullshit i've ever heard, you can't keep a secret to save your life."
"w-what?! that's not true! i never told you that osamu ate your last onigiri and said the cat ate it instead!"
we both paused,
"he did what? wait, we don't even have a cat!"
"n-nothing! listen, i just want to knowww! pleaseee!"
"no, i'll deal with you later."
i continued to the school, despite his protests. i stayed up all night studying for a test today, a really important test. and to make matters worse, atsumu kept bugging me about last friday, every waking moment, it was like he never stopped thinking about it or something. i continued walking to my classroom, barely making it on time.
"Good morning class, please take your seats."
everyone went silent and made their way to their desks.
"alright, today you have your final test of the semester. this is one of your more important tests, it's worth a lot of your grade. please take your time, you have until the end of the day."
he slowly handed out the tests, making my nerves go through the roof. i picked at my nails, trying to distract myself, until he placed the packet on my desk, walking back to the front.
"go ahead and begin."
and just like that, i felt like i was going to die right then and there.

"alright, your time is up. please bring me your tests and you are free to go."
