CHAPTER XV

Three days, it has been three days when Arthur finally accepted the fact that he lost a part time job and for him to realize that he needs to find a new one now. Arthur couldn't understand his history teacher's lecture right now, he was just staring out the window; mind off of somewhere. And Arthur was not the only one who was in that situation, Kevin also was lost in his own world, not paying attention to the class. The teacher keeps on eyeing them, but she didn't bother the two. Even when the class bell rings, the two didn't stand up and walk out of the room, they were just staring out the window, both with troubled minds. 

"Did something happened that we are not aware? I noticed that Kevin has been off these past few days. I even haven't saw him driving Eliz home or even go with her in class every morning." Travis asked his three friends who were watching Kevin and Arthur with their curious eyes outside the room. 

"I don't know. But Arthur told me Kevin already knew that he is tutoring Kate, and they had a fight." Jaden told Travis, still looking at the two with concern in his eyes.

"Arthur's tutoring who?! Wait, what the hell is happening? Why Arthur is tutoring Kate? And why the hell it looks like I am the only person who is not aware of that? Jun, did you know about this?" Travis exclaimed, looking at his friends with an annoyed face

"Nope" Jun casually said. "I have enough of watching these two, if you're not hungry well I am so I gotta go now." Jun looked at the three and then left.

Travis looked at Justin and Justin avoided his eyes, looking guilty.

"So you knew about this?" Justin looked at Travis and he can see disappointment in his eyes. Travis pinched his nose bridge and walked out. Justin followed him immediately and grabbed the boy's shoulder making him spun around.

"Hey, listen to me. It's not like I don't want to tell you. It's just, if I tell you I know you would tell it to Kevin immediately. And Arthur would hate me to the core if he knew Kevin find it out to other person and not through him" Justin explained to Travis. He managed to look up and looked directly at Travis eyes despite of Travis' tall height.

"Oh, so you're siding Arthur now?" Justin creased his eyebrows. He never side to any of the two. His favor was with Kevin and Arthur since the very first day.

"Of course not. I know you hate Arthur but it doesn't mean that I should hate him too. I have nothing against him Travis, he is still a friend to me."

"Whatever" Travis rolled his eyes at Justin and walked away, leaving Justin behind. Justin looks back at Jaden and saw him still watching the two and then looked at Travis' way, finally decided to follow him.

Arthur let out a long and heavy sigh. He needs to find another job as early as possible. The money he saved are still not enough for him to survive college. He decided to stand up and when he did, he was startled to saw Kevin still sitting on his chair, deep in his thoughts. He ignored him and walked out of the room, he stopped when he heard Kevin's voice. He looked back at Kevin, and found him still staring out the window.

"Forget it."

Arthur raised his eyebrows. What is he talking about now? he thought. Kevin stopped staring out the window and looked at him

"Forget what you saw at the house."

Arthur realized what Kevin was talking about and shrugged, as if he didn't care about what he saw but truth be told, he cares, and he wants to know what happened. Arthur turned on his heels and finally walked out of the room, not uttering a word to Kevin. He saw Jaden outside the room, waiting for him, or more of watching him and Kevin. He offered a small smile and walks on the other direction, heading to the rooftop. Jaden accompanied him, he has a lot of questions to Arthur, but he knows the latter wouldn't gave him answers.
