Upon hearing these words, I just noticed that we weren't exactly in the position where we could talk properly, so I got up and stood by his side of the bed instead, while he sat up to be facing me.
"How would you know?" I almost whispered, not really finding my voice.
No, I wasn't shocked or sad. I was so fucking embarrassed, and I just needed to dig a hole and bury myself in it.
Yeah, I could feel that.
"Baby, trust me," He spoke softly, but I wasn't convinced with it. Even when he reached out for my hand to caress it, I still didn't buy it. "I just don't want you to feel any-"
"I think I'm old enough to know how to deal with my stress." Oops. That slipped. I looked up for a second, ignoring his shocked face. "And I'm never gonna force myself to do something like this. None of us deserves that. Neither do you deserve to be deceived, nor do I have to."
He sighed heavily, thinking for a moment. "Rain, I'm-"
"It's starting to look like I'm begging you, which I'm not so much willing to be doing." I shook my head, taking my hand away from his, immediately going away from him.
"Where are you going, Raina?" He asked, frustration so evident in his voice, but I just slightly raised my hand without turning to him, heading to the bathroom and making sure to lock the door behind me.
"Dammit!" I could hear him hiss from outside the room, obviously upset. But from what exactly?
Why would he push me away if he obviously wanted me too?
Or he simply didn't maybe?
Wait.. Didn't he find me attractive? Even with these suffocating, sexy things I was wearing?
Or was he actually right about waiting until I'd be completely ready?
