Just a short reminder: Everything in italic implies the voice in Raina's head; what is not implies either Raina's normal character or just another character talking. And I made sure that I haven't made any mistakes about this thing in the chapter.

It is that confusing, yes.

So... Ready for our Ultimate Ride? 👀

Standing in front of the mirror, I stared blankly at my reflection for a couple of seconds, noticing the way my face has changed in such a short time. A year. Just one a year made me look like I was older and of so many problems.

"The problems are in the past, darling." I said while looking at my fragile reflection in the mirror. "Let me take over tonight."

I looked down and took a deep breath, my eyes falling on the delicate item that had a raindrop as its pendent. I carefully picked it up then placed it around my neck. I looked at the mirror again, touching the special necklace with the tips of my fingers.

My eyes travelled up to the ones looking back at them in the mirror as a mischievous grin suddenly appeared on my face, and that's when I realized it.

I was no longer in control.

"Aww, poor Raina." I scoffed, shaking my head at how pathetic I found myself.

I need to make sure of something first.

I rolled my eyes and huffed in annoyance because of the thoughts that were still invading my mind, so persistent to remain stupidly in place.

Please.

Ugh.. Whatever.

"Hey, Jimin." I said through the phone, feeling tears gathering in my eyes, helplessly.

"Raina?" He said in confusion, surely because of how faint my voice was. "Is there something wrong?"

"No." I answered quietly, taking a deep breath before continuing. "I just wanted to ask you about Sky and Snow; are they okay?"

"Perfectly fine." He replied, a small smile could be hinted in his voice, causing me to sigh in relief. "Actually there is some good news."

"What is it?" I turned away from the mirror where I seemed to be mocked at whenever I looked at it, with a bored glare that I continuously received from my reflection.

"I found Snow's parents."

"Really?" The smiled widened on my face as I felt tears already trailing down my cheeks; I was so happy that she wasn't an orphan like me or Sky, or Ta-Shut. Up.

Okay.

"Yes." He said a little cheerfully. "I went to the orphanage where Jungkook brought her from, and I realized that they lost her last year."
