Chapter 20 - C-Rank

1 week has passed since Kakashi got his new genin team and since I started school again. [insert grumble]

My shuriken aim is almost perfect, but I have to work on my kunai.

But none of that matters now.

"You're what?"

"Yeah, we're going on a C-rank mission so I probably won't be back until 6 days passed," Kakashi said.

"What's the mission?" I asked with a very, very serious stare as I inched towards him, making him sweatdrop.

"It's an escort mission," Kakashi answered.

"Who are you escorting?" I asked, eyes shaded but glowing faintly as a dark aura radiated off me.

"A...bridgebuilder," Kakashi tried scooting away but I only got closer, our eyes only inches apart. "To where?"

"The...Land of Waves," Kakashi said. "Now, get off me."

'Land....of....waves....' I thought, my eyes blank. 'It's finally here.'

"i'm going to throw you to the other sofa," Kakashi warned.

My head snapped towards him. "Don't die, Kakashi sensei."

"It's only a C rank mission...." Kakashi sweatdropped.

"Don't die," I whispered and kissed his nose which meant kissing his mask but who cares.

His eyes widened as he started spluttering nonsense that I didn't bother to listen to.

I stood up like a zombie, turning to the stairs but not before slowly turning my head towards him again. "Sleep in your room and roll around in the blankets right now. I want to sleep in your room and smell you when you're not here."

Kakashi sweatdropped.

(It seems my level of weirdness has slightly increased...this was meant to be serious.)

I sighed as I put my pen down, leaning against the table.

I know Kakashi would win in a fight against Zabuza for sure, but I can't help but worry.

What if things don't go like they did in the anime?

What if my existence had changed some things?

What if Kakashi will.....

I shook my head.

Standing up, I dropped onto my bed and snored away.

"Well, I'll be going out now, Shi..mi.....ko," Kakashi sweatdropped as he glanced at my dead eyes.

"Don't die." 

"I told you I won't," Kakashi muttered under his breath. "Wait, don't you have academy today?"

"Yeah, I do," I nodded.

"And?" Kakashi sighed. "What are you still doing at home?"

"I forgot," I answered. "And there's another school holiday starting from tomorrow for one week so who cares."

Kakashi sweatdropped. 'Why does she have so much holidays....'

"Shh," Alternate universe Shimiko whispered as she appeared in a portal and disappeared again.

"6 days. If you're not back in 6 days," I smiled. "I'll kill myself."

"Don't," Kakashi sweatdropped. "I'll be going now."

Tears stained my eyes as I pouted.

Kakashi sighed. He bent down to my height and gave me a small peck on the nose. "There. It's only a C-rank mission. Okay?"

I nodded slowly.

"Well, bye, I think I'm late now, very late," Kakashi laughed nervously before disappearing in a blur.

My lips slightly quivered.

I have a bad feeling.

(I dont know how this story will end.

i like writing tragic endings but if i killed myself that would mean i'm killing myself- wait wtf am i saying lmao. i have absolutely no idea how to write a happy ending because i have never wrote one before-)
