My parents were getting divorced.
They'd told us just after we'd come home from the "happiest place on earth"
(the irony is not lost on me).
Everything was in turmoil.
Suddenly my Mother hated my Dad.
She called him a fat pig.
I didn't understand.
They'd seemed fine.
I kept asking them what happened. But when they answered I felt angry. It just seemed like everyone was lying.
Finally, one day, standing beside the kitchen island, my mother cracked and screamed.
"Your Dad forced me to have sex with him."
