I had to drive my brother to school every morning.
I liked to leave at 7:45 so that at 8, I could get breakfast.
But my brother didn't want to get there early.
And no matter how I asked, he would not get in the car before he wanted to get in the car.
The thing was, this was sometimes at 8, and then I was late for class, which started at 8:10.
I quickly grew tired of this and told him that if he wasn't ready to go at 7:45, I'd leave him.
I went out to the car and started it, hoping that just the thought that I'd leave would motivate him, and it did, but he cried and called my mother.
She told me that if I ever left my him at home, she'd kick me out of the house again.
