"I swear once we start building I'll find an easier way to get up here," Derek laughed, squeezing Meredith's hand as Mark cursed under his breath.

"Couldn't build a house in town," Mark grumbled. "Couldn't be fucking normal and build a house in town."

"You'll get it when you see it," Meredith giggled.

"I've seen it," Mark shrugged. "Shep dragged my ass up here before you got here, Grey. It's still a pain in the ass."

"It's perfect," Derek laughed.

"Perfect involves a driveway, Derek," Addison sighed, frowning as her heel sunk into the mud. "You could have told me we were hiking."

"I told Mark. He was supposed to tell you."

"Of course he was," Addison rolled her eyes.

"You could have borrowed my extra hiking boots," Meredith sighed. "I offered."

"She's wearing a pencil skirt," Mark laughed as he squeezed Addison's hand. "Hiking boots wouldn't match with the outfit."

"I'm not sure if I'm impressed or frightened that you know it's a pencil skirt," Addison laughed softly.

"I pay attention."

"You pay attention to skirts?" Derek asked.

"I pay attention to my fiancee's ass and legs in a skirt."

"But you know what kind it is?"

"I do when it's the skirt that makes her ass and legs look the best."

"You're such an idiot," Derek groaned.

"I'm not the one living on a fucking cliff," Mark rolled his eyes.

"I love my cliff," Derek grinned and then shook his head, looking at Meredith. "I love our cliff."

"Our cliff is amazing," Meredith smiled softly, leaning into Derek.

"It is," Derek nodded, letting go of her hand to wrap an arm around her.

"It's not actually yours, Grey," Mark pointed out, cursing as he stepped into a puddle of mud.

"Actually it is," Derek grinned. "Her name was added to the deed last week."

"It was?" Addison looked up quickly, a smile playing on her lips.

"It was. It's officially ours instead of mine."

"We had to do that before we could start building," Meredith smiled as Derek's fingers tightened around the roll of house plans.

"And our contractor wants to get going on it soon," Derek smiled.

"You hired a contractor?" Mark asked.

"Yeah," Derek nodded.

"It will take a while," Meredith shrugged. "But...he wants to get started soon. So I had to get my name on the deed. And now its ours."

"That's great, guys," Addison smiled as Meredith and Derek shared a quick kiss.

"It would be even better if I didn't have to climb a fucking mountain," Mark groaned.

"Stop your bitching, we're nearly there."

"Yeah, I'll tell you to stop your bitching when you owe me three hundred dollars."

"Why the hell would I owe you three hundred dollars?"

"These shoes are three hundred at least."

"And?"

"And I'm climbing up a fucking mountain, in the mud."

"I told you we were going to the cliff," Derek shrugged. "It's not my fault you wore those."
