Sua pov

I arrived at school and walked to my usual waiting spot, hoping Handong and Gahyeon would arrive soon so I wouldn't be standing alone for too long. I pulled the hood of my sweater over my head and leaned against the wall, my eyes scanning over the people around me. That's when I noticed her, Siyeon, standing with a small group of friends not that far away from me. I must've been staring at her for too long cause all of the sudden she looked back at me, not showing any intention of looking away. I felt a small panic rise in my chest and looked down. I could feel that she didn't look away and decided to go inside, desperately trying to get away from under her gaze. I felt like someone was following me, too scared to look behind, I decided to go hide in the restroom. I walked inside of one of the stalls and locked the door behind me. It didn't take long before I head the door of the restroom open again.

"I know you're here."

My heart started to beat faster and my breathing became heavier.

"We're alone, just please come out. I just want to talk."

There was something about her voice that was irresistible, something that drew me closer to her. I slowly unlocked the door again and walked out. She looked at me and smiled. Her eyes looked at me from head to toe, making her seem even taller than she already was.

Siyeon pov

I had followed the girl all the way to the restroom.

"Did she really want to avoid me this badly?"

No matter how much I kept telling myself to leave her alone and that she didn't want to talk with me, something from deep inside of me forced me to stay. I walked inside the restroom and noticed that only one stall was occupied.

"I know you're here."

I tried to hide the shake in my voice the best I could and managed to pull it of quite well. After all, I had nothing to lose.

"We're alone in here. I just want to talk."

I was about to walk out when I heard the door behind me open with a soft creak of the door behind me. I turned around and locked eyes with the girl, she seemed to turn smaller as soon as I did. I noticed that she was fidgeting with her hands, clearly not knowing what to do. To be honest, I hadn't even thought this far ahead when I followed her, but I was too far to turn back now.

"Uhmm, hi. What's your name?" I managed to get out.

"My name is Bora, Kim Bora."

She softly bit her bottom lip and looked down at her hands, making her look even cuter than before.

"Siyeon, what the hell are you thinking. Get your shit together."

"My name is Siyeon, but you already know that don't you..."

She gave me a small nod in response.

"I just wanted to thank you. If you didn't call the teacher it might have ended way worse."

"You don't have to thank me, I did nothing much really."

"Believe me, you did. And besides, I want to thank you."

After hearing that she looked up, her eyes big and sparkly. I couldn't help but smile at her, she smiled back. The moment soon got interrupted as a small group of girls came in. Her smile faltered and a panicky expression soon took over. She put her hood on and walked out of the restroom and got swallowed in the see of people. I couldn't help but feel sad, holding on to the hope that I would see her again.

Siyeon's face was burned in my head. From the way her eyes turned into crescents when she smiled to her husky voice. If those girls wouldn't have walked in then maybe...maybe I would've liked to talk to her more. But I knew that it was stupid. Why would someone like her would want to be friends with someone like me. I walked to class and found Handong and Gahyeon waiting for me at the door.

"Where were you?" Gahyeon asked, while Handong looked at me worriedly.

"Are you ok Sua, you look a bit shaken?"

"I'm fine, lets just go to class please."

I was far from fine. My head was spinning, unable to clasp at any thought. Everything was just one big whirlwind. I wanted to talk to Handong and Gahyeon about what had happened in the restroom earlier, but I knew I needed to do this on my own. I was so deep in thought that I hadn't even heard the bell. Handong stood before me and waved her hand in front of my face, making me jump back a little in response.

"Are you sure you're ok, can we do anything?"

"Yeah, I'm ok don't worry. I just have a headache, it'll pass."

"Ok..."

I stood up and we went to the cafeteria. It didn't take long before Gahyeon broke the silence.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you guys something. My childhood friend moved here last week and she's going to come to our school."

She said with a bright smile on her face.

"I've know her since I was 3, you guys are going love her."

"What's her name?" Handong asked.

"Her name is lee Yubin. I really hope you guys get along."

"I'm sure we will. Any friend of yours is a friend of ours" I replied.

Gahyeon talked about the numerous of tiny adventures she and Yubin had had as kids for the entire lunch break. I loved seeing her so enthusiastic, it made her almost radiate warmth. However, she was interrupted by someone that had slowly made their way to us.

"Hi Bora, hi friends of Bora. Could you come with me please, I need to talk to you about something."

I looked up to see Siyeon standing at the end of our table, staring me right into the eyes. She had not only remembered my name, but she had also recognized me. It took me a few seconds before I was able to get any words out of my mouth.

"s-sure" I mumbled.

Gahyeon and Handong looked at me as if I had just turned blue as I hesitantly stood up. Siyeon took my hand in hers and led me out of the cafeteria.
