Sua pov
Siyeon's expression was unreadable. She looked like she was about to throw a chair across the room and cry at the same time. I didn't know what to do, but something compelled me to take her hand.
"We need to talk."
She was still looking down, not giving any reaction. I saw a tear rolling down her cheek.
"I...I'm so sorry Sua."
"It's ok, you didn't know."
She slung herself in my arms and I hugged her tight. I carefully sat down, not letting go of her. We sat there for a while, neither of us felt the need to move. I slowly started telling her what I remembered as she slowly drew soothing circles on my back. Hugging her felt so nice, so warm, I had missed it. When we finally pulled away she spoke again.
"So what now?"
"The girls promised me that they are going to figure out who did this to me."
"I want to help."
"That would mean a lot to me." I said with a smile.
She laid back in the couch and opened her arms. Urging me to come closer. I laid down next to her, with my head on her chest. She put her arms around me and started the movie. We had laid like this before, but this time it felt different. Something had changed between us. I wasn't sure if it was a good or bad change, all I knew was that I wanted nothing more than to feel that forever.
After the movie I went home, before Siyeon's parents came back. It didn't take 5 minutes before I received a text from her. An idiotic smile appeared on my face. We texted as I walked home, went to bed and long after. At 1 am I practically had had to force her to go sleep since she had school the next day. Something about to day made that I could fall asleep peacefully. For a second I had forgotten what happened these past days.
Siyeon pov
I woke up to the sun rising, shining slightly though my curtains. I hadn't slept this good in days. I slept a few hours less than usual, but for some reason I felt more energized. I turned around in my bed, picked my phone up from the nightstand; unplugged the charger and got up. It didn't take long for me to get ready. As soon as I got downstairs I noticed a bright yellow post-it laying on the kitchen counter. "We'll be back home at 10 tonight, we have a late meeting." This day seemed to be going well so far. I grabbed some food and went to the bus stop, leaving Bora some messages on my way there, hoping that she was sleeping and resting like she promised she would.
"Hi, you better be sleeping. I'm headed to school right now, but my parents won't be home tonight. Maybe we can meet up?"
The bus arrived and I got on. I sat down and put my earphones in like usual. I was listening to music and deeply buried in my own thoughts. I had promised Sua that I would figure out what happened to her and who had been behind it. I started to feel some kind of anger raging in my chest by the thought of what happened to her. Someone had pretty much left her there to die.
I was so occupied that I almost didn't realize I was at school already. I got off the bus and walked to the others.
"Please tell me you guys made up." Gahyeon said right away.
I chuckled "Of course we did."
"THANK GOD. I was not willing to sit through Sua crying again."
"She cried?" I asked, a little surprised.
"and not even a little. She was really upset after you guys fought."
I hadn't realized how much it had impacted her.
Yoohyeon stopped me before my thoughts could go any worse. "But, that's all in the past now. How is she by the way?"
I let out another chuckle at the thought of me and Sua laying on the couch the day before. "She's doing quite well, still tired tho. But she promised me to take rest so she can go to school again next week.
"That's great" Minji said.
"There is something else we all need to talk about." Yubin said, a serious expression on her face.
Everyone knew what she was talking about, but no one wanted to start the conversation.
"We need to figure out what happened to Sua" she continued.
I thought for a second, "I have a plan, but I'm going to need all of you guys help."
*time skip*
It was lunch time. I had explained the plan to the girls this morning. We would all head out to the cafeteria, all the students would be there. We would make them leave there name on a piece of paper and then figure out who was at the party. It wasn't going to be easy and it was going to be a lot of work, but for Bora it was worth it.
We met up at the door of the cafeteria and walked in together. I decided to take the lead and stand on top of one of the tables. I could feel all the eyes turning towards me as I yelled "Can I have everyone's attention please."
I took a deep breath and continued. "As everyone knows there was a party this weekend. I'm sure you've all heard the stories about the girl being taken away to the hospital by now, that girl is a close friend of mine. Somebody hurt her at the party and I'm going to figure out who. We need the help of all of you. Just give your name and the names of the people you were with before heading out of the cafeteria."
I pointed at the girls that were standing at the door. Looking around with their most serious and angry faces.
"As you can see me and my friends aren't happy about what happened and we want to help our friend. She's healing at home as we speak, but what happened will still have effect on her. So if you saw anything, please tell us. We just want her to be able to come back to school and feel safe."
I came down from the table and some people started clapping, probably unknowing of what else to do. I blushed a little and walked back to the others.
"You did great." Handong assured me.
It didn't take long before the first people headed out of the cafeteria, not hesitating a second about writing their names down.
"I hope she gets better soon."
"Thank you." I responded with a smile.
"She surely has someone who cares about her to take care of her when she comes back." Another girl said.
I blushed a little and nodded. I checked my phone only to find that I had several missed calls from Bora.
"I have to go do something real quick." I said to the others before heading outside.
