Sua pov

I had to leave for school in half an hour. The others would be waiting for me at the bench where we usually meet up. I felt so nervous, not sure of how today would go. I decided to take a shower to calm down before going to school. The feeling of the warm water running down my skin had a calming. I quickly got out after a few minutes and grabbed a towel. I dried myself of and got dressed. I grabbed my phone and went outside. The walk to school was quiet, too quiet. My head was spinning, going through all the possible ways today could go.

I arrived at school and sat down on the bench where all of us would be meeting. This bench had kind of become out usual meeting spot. It was quiet here, calm. I was startled by two hands covering my eyes.

"GUESS WHO"

Gahyeon's enthusiasm was easy to recognize, it made a smile appear on my face. The worries from just a moment ago faded a little.

"Hi Gahyeon"

"Damn, you guessed right away." She walked around the bench and sat down next to me. "The others will be here soon. How are you doing?"

"Not too bad, very stressed though."

"Understandable, but we're all here for you ok. You won't be alone for even a second."

She gave me one of her warm, comforting smiles. She was really too innocent. Something in me wanted to keep it that way, to keep her away from all the bad stuff in the world. I looked at the door and Minji and Yoohyeon came outside, walking hand in hand. With Siyeon behind them....damn Siyeon. She was wearing a crop top and a flannel shirt, which was lazily around her waist. Her look was finished off by a pair of high waist mom jeans.

"No one could ever pull this off like she does." I thought to myself.

I mentally hit my head, I couldn't be thinking things like this. She had a boyfriend for christ sake.

Minji and Yoohyeon stood in front of the bench and Siyeon sat down on my other side. We gave each other a quick hug and I leaned back in the bench. Siyeon's arm was still around my waist, just laying there. It was both calming and nerve wracking at the same time.

After Yubin and Handong arrived we got up and left for the cafeteria. Handong told us that she had seen Dak-ho there with a few of his friends. We walked inside and saw him at one of the tables in the left corner.

Nothing about him seemed...intimidating? Was that the word that described the person I would expect to be sitting there. I mean I didn't know what he would look like, but Dak-ho didn't look anywhere near what I expected. He looked quite gentle and kind, not like the kind of person who would drug someone and purposely leave them to die.

I started to get overwhelmed by my nerves and confusion. Siyeon must have noticed, because she took my hand without hesitation and squeezed it softly. Reminding me that I wasn't alone, that she and the others would be with me the entire time. I took a deep breath and started to walk towards the table, the others walking behind me. When he saw us approaching he looked a confused, but smiled at us non the less, making me even more confused.

Siyeon took the lead, "We're sorry to bother you, but we need to talk with you Dak-ho. Preferably in private."

He stood up without complaining, the confusion in his eyes only growing. We walked back outside and stood under a tree that was at a decent distance of the other people walking around.

"Can I ask, what exactly do you guys want to talk about?"

"As you probably know, Sua got drugged at the party. You, along with the others, wrote your name down on our list to try and help us figure out who did this to her. After some puzzling, your name is the only one that remains." I could see that Siyeon was trying to stay composed. I was so grateful that I hadn't had to talk up until then, because I'm sure no decent sentences could've left my mouth.

His eyes widened in shock.

"Wait what. You think I did that, why?"

"You were alone at the moment of time, no one else was. And we know you were still at the party, because we saw you afterwards." Minji took over.

"You got this all wrong, I wasn't alone. I was with Dong-Hyun."

"Dong-Hyun, as in Dongmin's friend? The one who hosted the party?" Siyeon asked.

"Yeah...well uhm...my little sister was at the party too. She wasn't supposed to be drinking in the first place, but once I turned my back for a second she was already wasted. She threw up and me and Dong-Hyun cleaned it up."

I almost dropped to the floor. There it was, the last chance, melted like snow in front of my eyes. I looked at the others and I saw a similar disappointed look in their eyes. Siyeon's thumb started to stroke soothing circles on my hand, making me slightly feel better.

Dak-Ho realized that his answer wasn't the one we hoped for and he gave me a sympathetic look and spoke up once again.

"I'm sorry that I can't be of more help. If there is any information I can help you with, feel free to ask. I'm really sorry about what happened to you Sua."

"It's ok, you had nothing to do with it." I replied, barely audible.

"Thank you for you time, sorry for bothering you." Minji said before taking my other hand and leading me back to our bench.

While walking Siyeon put her arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to her. Her other hand never stopped making the circles. We sat down and Siyeon pulled me into a hug. I softly cried in her shoulder and she rubbed my back, trying to calm me down. After a while I sat back and looked at the others.

"Me and Minji will go through the list again, me must've missed something."

"It's ok, you guys already did more than enough. Maybe it's time for me to let it go and move forward without knowing who did it. There's nothing we can change about it anyways."

"Not happening, we are all going to keep looking." Yubin said.

I rested my head on Siyeon's shoulder.

"Thank you...all of you."

"Of course." Gahyeon said with her signature smile, making the ends of my lips curl up slightly as well.

"Why don't I walk you home and you go rest for a bit?" Siyeon proposed.

"Sounds good."

We stood up and said goodbye to the others. We walked to my house, Siyeon held my hand the entire time. The entire walk we barely said anything, but we didn't have to. Knowing that the other was there was more than enough. Once we arrived at my house I said goodbye to Siyeon as well, giving her one more hug. After that I went to my room and laid in my bed instantly. Already feeling the toll of the stress and worries of the day crashing on me. I soon closed my eyes and drifted off in a deep sleep.
