Sua pov
It was Saturday, the day of the party. I grew more nervous with every passing second, parties were not really in my comfort zone. Lots of people would be there, but I had promised the others to come and I wasn't someone to back out on a promise. We had planned to meet at Siyeon's house, so we could get ready together.
I stood up from my bed and walked to my drawer to pick out some clothes. I sure as hell wasn't going to wear a dress, but maybe not a sweater like usual either. At the bottom of my drawer, I found an old skinny shirt.
"This will have to do."
I put some jeans and the shirt on and went downstairs. My parents were in the couch, watching tv.
"I'm going out with some friends, I won't be back till late."
"Mhh."
I put on an old jeans jacked of mine and went to the garage to grab my bike. I left the house and started biking. The clothes felt uncomfortable, but I wanted to look good at the party.
I arrived at Siyeon's house and rang the bell. She opened the door and ran towards me to give me a hug. Once she pulled back she looked at me from head to toe.
"Damn you dress up nice." She said. I felt my face get red. "You can put your bike there, the others are already in my room."
I put my bike away and walked in. We went to her room and she opened the door. I walked in and embraced everyone.
"Woah Sua, where did your sweater go??" Handong asked.
I laughed, "It's a special occasion."
"Who's the lucky one?" Yoohyeon said teasingly while back hugging Jiu.
My face got red, I didn't even think about that. Did I dress up for anyone?
"Baby stop it, she can look good because she wants to. She doesn't need to look good for anyone." Minji said.
Then everyone went back to what they were doing. I had already done my make up at home so I sat on Siyeon's bed and watched the others. After a while Siyeon was finished too and she sat down next to me. She was wearing a short red dress and her black hair was draped over her shoulders.
"Soooooo, are you going to let your hair down?" She looked at me with the best puppy eyes she could make.
"Hell no, the ponytail stays."
I didn't notice as her hand went behind my back and she pulled the hair tie out.
"Heyyyy, give that back."
"No stalker, it's mine after all." She said teasingly.
"Reallyyyy"
"Yep"
The others had noticed that something was happening and looked in our direction.
"Woah, your hair is beautiful Sua" Gahyeon said.
"Why don't you wear it down more often, it looks so pretty." Yubin added.
My face got red again, I wasn't used to compliments.
"It really doesn't look that good."
"You know what, you can have my hair tie IF you wear your hair down tonight." Siyeon said.
I sighed "Fine..."
For some reason I found it hard to say no to her.
The others finished getting ready and we headed downstairs. Minji had called a taxi to pick all of us up. The taxis arrived and we split into two groups. Jiu, Yoohyeon, Gahyeon and Yubin went into one taxi and Siyeon, Handong and I got into the other one. Handong sat in the front and me and Siyeon in the back.
After a while Siyeon came closer to me and whispered "You know, whoever your dressing up for. I'm sure they will be mesmerized."
I didn't know how to respond. She sat straight up again with a proud smile on her face.
We arrived at the house. The door was wide open and you could see people dancing in and around the house. We all got out of the taxis and went inside together. I saw people staring at me and decided to walk a bit closer to the others. We met up with Dongmin and his friends. They started handing out cups with beer. We all drank till we were tipsy, just enough to take the edge off.
Over the past two hours we fanned out. Gahyeon, Handong and Yubin were dancing, Jiu and Yoohyeon were sitting on the couch being all cute and Siyeon was talking with Dongmin and his friends. I was kind of on my own but I didn't mind, I had stayed away from the alcohol for most of the time and looked at the drunk people that were doing things they would regret tomorrow. A guy walked up to me and started flirting. I tried to get him to leave but he just wouldn't accept no for an answer. He came closer to me and he tried to kiss me. Someone jerked him away by his jacket. He was drunk so it didn't take him a lot for him to fall on the floor. He looked very angry at the person who just saved me and walked away. I looked at my left and saw Siyeon brightly smiling at me.
"You ok?"
"Yeah, thank you."
"My pleasure, stalker."
I rolled my eyes and laughed.
"I don't see your special person here yet. Sorry, they are very stupid to let someone like you get away."
"I never had a special person to meet tonight, you know that right."
"Mhmmmmm, then why did you dress up?"
"Simply because I wanted to." I said smiling.
I knew who my special person was, but I never wanted to admit it. I couldn't. It was wrong in so many ways.
