Siyeon pov
I cooked a couple of eggs and made some toast. When I walked back into my room, I saw that Bora was still sleeping. I put the plate and the glass of orange juice down on my desk and walked over to the bed. I sat down on the edge and softly poked her side. She grunted in response.
"Bora, it's time to wake up. I even made you food."
"You're lazy ass made food?" She mumbled.
I poked her again, a little harder than the last one. She laughed and opened her eyes.
"Good morning."
"Good morning." I laughed softly.
"You said something about food." Her eyes sparkled from enthusiasm.
I stood up and brought the plate to the bed. We quietly ate the food, Bora had insisted that I ate some too. Knowing that I wouldn't win the discussion, I obliged and ate a few bites as well. We got dressed and left for school.
"I don't think you can come over for a while..." I said once we were on the bus.
"Why, did something happen?"
I could hear the worry in her voice and knew that lying wouldn't help.
"Well...my parents don't like it when I bring friends over. They want me to spend my time in more useful ways."
"Then what if we met up at my place next time?"
"But I thought you didn't want that."
"I rather not, but I wanna spend time together." She said with a wide smile.
I smiled back, feeling some kind of relief. I could still spend time with her and my parents wouldn't have to know about it.
"Ok then, next time we meet up at your place."
We were quiet for the rest of the ride, not awkward, just quiet. Distracted by our own thoughts.
The bus stopped and we got off. The others were already at the bench where we met yesterday. Yoohyeon was proudly waving around with some papers in her hand. We walked to them and exchanged hugs.
"Me and Minji went through all the names yesterday." Yoohyeon said with a smile on her face. "We narrowed them down to 7."
I looked at Bora who stood next to me. Her eyes wide open, waiting in anticipation for Yoohyeon to say the remaining names.
"The remaining names are: Chung-hee, Dak-ho, Ha-neul, Hae-Won, Hwa-young, Kwang-Sun and Dongmin."
"Dongmin? As in Dongmin my boyfriend." Part of me hated that word, but it was true, he was my boyfriend.
"He wasn't with us and no one else saw him. We didn't know if we could cross him out already or not."
"Well I think I can be pretty sure if I say that Dongmin wouldn't hurt a fly. And why would he care for Sua and go check on her to then drug her. Just cross him off the list."
"Ok, then that means there are 6 people remaining."
I turned to Bora. "Any idea of who it could be?"
"I...I think it was a man. But I don't know any of the names you just said."
"Ok, cross out all the girls. How many left?"
"Two, what do we do with them?"
"I'm going to talk to them later. I'm going to bring Sua home before my class starts."
I linked my arm in Bora's and exchanged goodbye's with the others. I saw that she was still in a slight shock so I wanted to make sure she got home safely. Luckily I had first period off. Usually I would spend that time in bed, staring at my ceiling. But right now, I didn't want to be in bed anymore. I wanted to be outside, to live a little.
Bora's house wasn't that far away. After 2O minutes of walking we arrived.
"You have to go back to school don't you."
I nodded in response. A sad grin showed on her face, but she quickly hid it.
"Thank you Siyeon, for everything."
She hugged me and I hugged her back. My hands gently petting her back.
"You're welcome. Text me if you need me ok."
"Mhmm."
We slowly stepped away from each other, breaking the hug. I wanted nothing more than to stay with her. But I had school. I walked away and looked back. Bora was waving at me and I waved back until she was out of sight.
I continued my way to school and met up with Yoohyeon, we had the same class this period.
"So, how's she doing?"
"She's a little shaken, but she'll be ok."
"That's good."
"Spill it yoo."
"Mhh?"
"I can see it on your face that you wanna ask something."
"Oh" she giggled. "How was your evening with Sua?"
"We ate noodles and watched the lion king. It ended up being to late for her to go home so she stayed over. I made breakfast in the morning."
"Woahhhhhhhh, you cooked? I'm shocked really. Is your house still standing?"
I poked her and she moved away as quickly as she could, clearly enjoying my annoyance.
"Really, I can cook you know."
"Of course" She giggled, running even farther away.
I let out a sigh and followed her inside of the classroom. We sat down next to each other at a desk and class started.
*time skip to lunch break*
We all sat at the table, talking about class and how next break should come sooner. I on the other hand, was buried in my own thoughts.
"Siyeon, you ok?" Minji startled me.
"Yeah, I'm good. I was just thinking about what I should say to the guys. I don't know how I'm going to approach them."
"Well for starters, they will tell the truth easier if you stay nice. So no yelling at them. I'll stay with you ok."
"Me too." Yoohyeon joined.
"Why don't we just all do this together." Handong proposed.
I nodded and smiled, I was lucky to have friends like them. We stood up and cleaned up the plates. We decided to go find Dak-ho and Kwang-Sun, knowing that one of them was most likely to have put Bora through that.
