Yoohyeon pov
*earlier that day*
After leaving the others, me and Minji went to her house. Her parents were lovely as always. Dinner wasn't uncomfortable with them, on the contrary, her parents always made me feel included. When Minji had first taken me to her home to introduce me to her parents, I was so scared. I didn't know how they would react. Hundreds of doom scenarios had run through my head. But turns out, Minji got her charms from them. From the second I walked through that door, they had given me nothing but kindness and I couldn't be more happy. Even though I hadn't even come out to my parents yet, Minji had never pushed me to do it. Aand in some way her parents being so nice had helped me to accept myself more.
Once we finished helping them clean up we went to her room.
"So I was thinking, what if we just put everything in a document and then cross out afterwards."
"Sounds good" Minji said and she stood up to get her laptop from her desk.
We sat on her bed and I leaned against her. I began to read the names one by one as Minji wrote copied them on her laptop. It took us almost half an hour.
"Let's take a break." she said as she closed her laptop.
She put it aside before wrapping her arms around me and holding me close against her. I rest my chest on her shoulder and snuggled against her.
"So, did you notice how close Siyeon and Sua became? It's honestly so cute, they don't even notice it themselves."
She giggled, "of course I noticed, it's pretty hard to not notice."
Her fingers started to gently comb through my hair and I felt myself melt into her arms.
"It's cute tho."
"Yeah it is."
"Would it be bad if we just gave them a little push so they would realize?"
"Let's just let them figure it out on themselves, I'm sure it won't take long anymore."
"You know, in all these years I haven't seen Siyeon this happy. I just hope that everything turns out all right with them. Both of them really deserve it."
"I know baby, it'll work out." She kissed my forehead.
"Let's get back to work shall we."
"Mhmm."
She put her laptop back on her lap and I read the names of the people that were together at the party. One by one the names got crossed out and the list became smaller and smaller. After another hour we ended with still 7 people left.
"That's it for today." Minji said, closing her laptop. "The rest is for when we meet up with the others."
She stood up and put her laptop back on her desk. When she turned around, I started pouting. t the loss of contact, She put her laptop away, looked at me and smiled. I felt a smile creep on my face as well, I didn't put any effort in keeping it in. She came back to sit next to me and put her arms around me.
"I think something else needs my attention now."
She slipped back into the bed and held me close against her. I could feel her smile against my head as she kissed it softly. We slid down under the blanket and she turned the lights off. We talked for a bit until I could start myself feeling more sleepy than I would've liked to admit.
"Close your eyes baby."
I hummed in response.
"Goodnight baby, sleep well."
"Goodnight babe."
*the next morning*
Siyeon pov
I woke up, the sun was shining. I wanted to get up to close the curtains and sleep a little longer when I felt the heat against my body. I slowly opened my eyes to see Bora curled in a small ball, inside of my arms. I almost pulled away, but quickly kept it in, careful not to wake her. I didn't remember falling asleep, at least not like this. I knew that I had to get away before she woke up, but I didn't want to. Her being so close it was....comforting. I wanted to keep hugging her like this. I knew that I shouldn't want it, but then why did it feel so nice. Then why did I want nothing more than to stay like this forever.I pushed the thoughts out of my head and forced myself to get up. I slowly moved away and got out of the bed, Bora still vast asleep. I put the blanket back on top of her and decided to go make some breakfast.
I walked downstairs, still in my pajamas. Clothes were a problem for later. My mom was in the kitchen, drinking a cup of coffee. She wasn't really a morning person, so I knew better than to talk to her, otherwise she would probably just get mad. I walked towards the fridge and got some eggs.
"Should you really eat that, it'll just make you more fat." She said coldly, not even looking at me.
"It's not for me, my friend stayed over last night."
Her eyes widened and she looked at me. "You know we don't like it when you let people stay over, especially without telling us."
"I know...I'm sorry. I didn't intent her staying over in the first place, but it got late and I didn't want her to go home in the dark."
"Then she shouldn't have come over in the first place. Why don't you start spending a little bit more time with your boyfriend. You shouldn't even be having time for friends. You need to start thinking more about your future."
"I'll start spending more time with him, sorry."
"You're sorrys are worth nothing Siyeon. You never change."
She finished her cup of coffee and put the empty mug in the sink.
"Clean that up before you leave for school." she said before walking out of the kitchen.
As soon as she got out, I let out a sigh, I wanted nothing more than to get out of here.
"One day...one day" I whispered to myself.
