🍎Chapter 9

You went home all alone just like in elementary whenever Karma gets sick. (Which is very rare).

The train station is just a few steps ahead yet your feets wandered off and ran back to the campus.

'He didn't send me home to go see Okuda, did he?' You asked yourself as you continued on running 'til your legs gave up. You went around the school campus hoping to see the redhead. It took you half an hour to realize where he might take Okuda.
(The hang out spot :')).

"You don't have to stress yourself over this Karma-kun, we could plan an assassination with the whole class. It maybe more effective" a voice tried to comfort the mentioned redhead.

It doesn't sound like a female's voice making you sigh in relief. Maybe you're just being paranoid because of the incident during the schooltrip in Kyoto.

You walk over to the place where Karma and Nagisa is. But Koro-sensei beat you right to it.

"Would you go such lengths for your students?" Karma asked out of nowhere, smirking at the octupus teacher.

"Of course! It's a teacher's duty to save and help their students!" He replied in an instant. Karma stepped back closer to the cliff. There you started picking up your pace.

"Very well then, so I could kill you!" His smirk widen, you went pass your teacher and your classmate to grab his hands but he forcefully let go.

Body falling down, you attempted to jump after him but Nagisa stopped you. You fell on the ground and stared down at disbelief. Tears sliding down your cheeks.

Suddenly, a strong gust of wind dried the wet substance and Koro-sensei was nowhere to be found. You ran at the end of the cliff to see Karma on a yellow spider web looking tentacles.

Koro-sensei started lecturing Karma.

For a moment, he stared up at you and then closed his eyes with a smile.
Koro-sensei brought him back up.

You ran and hug him in an instant.

"Karma-kun you baka!" You scolded and cried on his chest.

"I'm sorry, let's go home" Karma cracked a laugh as he stared at your tear-stained face. He couldn't feel any more guilt.

"We'll leave you two now alone" The octupus excused his face turning pink. The bluenette followed after him.

Karma embraced your tiny body as he carrasses your sides. "Oh right" he spoke as he remembers something.

"Teach!" He called out. Koro-sensei stared back at him as Karma holds out his wallet.

"Nyuya! That's mine!" The octupus frantically ran towards them and grabbed his wallet he sighed in relief before opening it.

"Uhm, Karma-kun, it's empty" he said, pointing at the inside of the wallet, face turning blank.

"Yeah I know, just think of it as a donation" Karma shrugged his shoulders casually as he helps you up from the ground.

Karma glanced at you while your on your way home. A smile slowly forming on his lips.

He thought of what happened earlier, when guilt and joy hit him so hard that he doesn't know how to react.

"Things are not only about yourself Karma-kun. There are things in movies where people who sacrifices becomes selfish. They do sacrifice to save their love ones and also to avoid feeling, guilt, loneliness and pain. Those are emotions that'll make you feel worser than dying. Think about it carefully Karma-kun, if (Y/n)-chan suicides and die what would you feel?"

I glanced up to see my girl looking down at us looking so worried and relieved at the same time, tears are welling up in her eyes. I then smiled.

'I couldn't afford losing her'

"Hell" I whispered as an answer.

"Then you better be careful! You scared her so much! Be more of a careful and wise boyfriend, will you?!"
Octoteach scolded.

'Glad to know, she's afraid of losing me as much as I do'
