🌶Chapter 27

Your Point Of View

To my surprise, Karma finally decided to apologize but he never explained whatever that thing is in the store.

I eyed him suspiciously as we sat down in one of tables in the cafeteria for lunch. It was raining cat and dogs, the train will get cramped once again.

"What?" he asked as he noticed my staring. I turned away with a pout.

Whatever's going in my mind he's supposed to be the one who'll know it right away.

"Geez, stop being a baby" he laughed, placing a hand on my head. I pried it away and huffed.

"Awe, you're still mad. I already apologize though. Knew it! Let's go to that nearby pocky store after school" I flinched and squinted my eyes at him.

"I didn't kill anyone" he said shaking his head and raising his arms like trying to defend himself from something.

"I don't feel like eating pocky" I glared and walked away.

"What about ice-cream? I'll buy you chips! " I can hear him laugh from a distance. That jerk! He must be messing with my head.

I turned on my heels and walked fast through the hallway,  once I've finally reached him,  he stopped laughing paused even his breathing. I took the chance to pull onto his already loosen necktie and attached my lips to his.

It's been two months since we've last kissed. Even after everything that we've been through, a kiss meant so much that we couldn't do it daily and act like it was a common thing.

I leaned back and pulled away from him, feeling my blood rush to my cheeks, I turned away.

"That's what I want, not sweets" I huffed for who knows how many times in this book and walked away completely.

Even from a distance, I could literally feel his stare. He's not cursing me, is he?

I don't want this day to end without getting a word out of him about that girl in the pocky store.

I'm going to interrogate him later. For now, let's test my guts and build up courage!

Karma's Point Of View

I sat nervously on my bed as I watched (Y/n) glares into my soul.

Behind her, we're ripped mangoes. Oh God. I could bear the green ones but not those!

"Now, shall we start Mr. Akabane?" She sat down infront of me, still gazing at me like she was giving me a heads-up for whatever's going to happen next.

I gulped and replied, "Sounds weird but yeah sure, Future Mrs. Akabane".

I hoped to release the tension but my statement made the situation worser. She grabbed one of the mangoes and took a spoonful.

And guess what?

She forcefully shoved it in my mouth making me gag. I almost throw it out but the looks she's giving me is making me shiver.

"Who was that girl in the pocky store you're flirting with? " she asked.

"I don't know" I replied.

She shoved another spoonful of ripped manggo.

"Whenever you lies, avoids my questions or try to cover up something, I'll be feeding these to you" she warned.

I don't know if it's the manggo that's driving me crazy or it is because she looks so hot and cute at the same time when she's trying to be serious.

"Again, who is she? " she asked.

I swear she'll be the death of me!

"That's Kiwa" I answered.

"Who's that?" She asked.

"The girl you saw me with in the pocky store " I replied, I knew exactly that was a wrong move. I was fed once again. I'm nearly choking.

"Who's she?! "

"Asano's cousin" I replied.

"Kiwa Asano, from the defense committee at school " I explained.

"Why is she with you? " She asked, getting closer to me as if getting ready to strangle me to death.

I don't mind though.

It'll be an honor to die in her hands.

Just kidding.

I just promised her a future, I can't die yet. She'll lost her future husband.

I started explaining the story information what it seems like eternity. Once I've stopped she looked at me, dumbfounded.

She fell on her back and squeeled in embarrassment.

"Wahhhhhh! I hate you, Karma-kun" Oh there she is. My (Y/n). She's back.

I'll never want to face that devil ever again.
