🌶️Chapter 30

You walked up the mountain with a smile on your face. The path was barely noticeable. Most of the trees have grown taller. The once dirt path was now full of grasses.

"Mommy, is it still far?" A girl with vibrant red hair and golden eyes that look like jewels. It was gleaming with innocence the same way how your (e/c) orbs looks like it was painted like a diamond.

"You don't get to complain, you're not even walking" A very matured voice laughed. You looked behind you to see your own husband carrying your daughter who was smiling from ear to ear.

"But, still! You guys are taking so long to walk!" The child pouted. Karma just laughed at it, the way his daughter's acting is quite similar to how you used to act when you were just a kid like her.

"Just a few more seconds we'll be there" You told the child.

"Mommy, you told me that like ten minutes ago" Emiko rolled her eyes. Oh that was obviously Karma's attitude.

You glared at the older redhead, his sweat dropped as he turned away. Sure Karma had grown mature, he isn't that teen who used to tease and piss of anyone without caring what is his limit. He have known when to tease or how far he should take it.

But he's still that redhead who always takes care of you no matter what.

"Look what you just taught my daughter, Mr.Akabane" You scolded him. He laughed once again. He's really enjoying laughing.

"Yes I know that, Mrs.Akabane" he smiled before catching up to you.

"We're here" you smiled at your child as Karma put her down on the ground.

"You guys took so long!" One of your classmates shouted.

"I have to finish something at work" Karma replied. His daughter held his hand tightly not knowing most of the people but there are a few she could recognize.

"Emiko-chan, how are you at school?" Rio approached the kid and the redhead looking doll kid immediately recognize her god-mother.

[(A/n):yes, Okuda is too.]

"O-oh! I'm fine! I made even more friends" the child came out from behind of her father's legs and started chitchatting with Rio.

"She'll be fine with me. Go catch up with the others" Rio shushed two of you away. You looked at the two for a moment before sighing.

"I'm gonna miss my daughter"

Karma smiled at you and placed his hand on your head. "A few minutes won't take so long"

"Yeah, right"

As soon as the two of you stepped a foot inside the classroom, they started giving you endless greeting and questions.

You took a step backwards to avoid getting crushed in the crowds, bumping onto Karma on the process.

"U-uhm...help..?" You looked up at him. He pulled you inside the classroom away from the crowds.

"(Y/n)-chan!" Okuda ran up to you with her and Takebayashi's newborn child.

"It isn't even a week since you last saw me" you laughed at her. She just smiled cheekily and sat where she used to, right infront of you. "You miss people too easy"

"You're the one talk" Karma said, you slapped his arms causing him to laugh then after he shut up.

You started catching up with your friends, after a few minutes Karasuma walked in the classroom holding his granddaughter with Irina following close behind.

Emiko didn't hesitate to run to you and climbed onto your lap. You wanted to hug her but before you could, Karma snatched her away and placed her on his desk.

Emiko placed her hand on his father's head and started braiding his hair and comparing it to hers.

"It's very much alike!" Emiko beamed, her eyes showing amusement as she started pointing out her's and her father's similarities.

It was late at night, when Emiko just woke up from her deep slumber. She hurried out of her room to yours and Karma's.

She opened the two doors went to your side. Karma got woke up from her presence and looked at her.

Emiko layed down beside you, you smiled feeling her presence near and wrapped her around your arms. But didn't last long when Karma took her and placed her on the other side of the bed instead.

"Give me back my daughter!" You whined trying to get her. Emiko as well, is trying to get out of his grasp.

"No. I wanna cuddle with her" Karma huffed.

"But I wanna cuddle with her too." you puffed your cheeks, though Karma couldn't see it.

"You already cuddle with her earlier when I was at work" Karma reasoned.

"But still!!" You whined once again. Karma groaned from the noise and turned around so he could cuddle with the two of you.

"This is better than sleeping alone" Emiko mumbled before falling into a deep slumber once again.

You felt a smile made it's way to your face as you gave her a kiss on the forehead. Karma did the same but to you instead.
