🌶️Chapter 23

Your Point Of View

I continue having a taste from an example from what I made for Karma-kun. I'm not certain if it do taste good.

"That's enough. Don't tell me you'll take a bite from the one that you'll give to Karma" Dad scolded from behind.

"I don't think it's good enough" I admitted.

"Nah, that'll be fine. You're a better baker than he is." Dad chuckled.

I let out a breath and finished the extra one. I got the one I'm giving to Karma-kun, ready. I put it in the refrigerator and walked upstairs to sleep.

I've given Karma tons of sweets for Valentines day since we were younger, and I've received tons from him too. All of them are guaranteed safe to it and he said he didn't put any of his spices in it.

I saw Okuda holding a blue heart-shaped wrapped chocolate inside her bag. Cute.

Karma and Rio were out somewhere with Kayano, I couldn't talk to him and give him his chocolate early, so I hang out with Nagisa-kun instead.

"You're supposed to be eating with Karma-kun, right?" Nagisa asked as we sat down under a tree with Sugino and Kanzaki. We decided to ignore them 'cause my eyes felt like it was stung.

SUGINO JUST CONFESS ALREADY!

He obviously likes you.

I shake my head and opened my bento and started eating peacefully. But that didn't last long 'cause a devil decided to appear within my radar.

"Oh. Eating already, (Y/n)-chan? Didn't even wait for me!" He whined like a kid. I handed him the bento I made and continued eating.

"Sugino-kun, can you wait for me after classes?" Kanzaki asked openly. Sugino blushed in response and nodded rapidly.

Sighed.

Geez.

"Good thing you're only shy, not oblivous. I would've killed myself from trying to tell you" Karma laughed. More like 'teased'.

"You should've confess in a more serious way, maybe I wouldn't be awkward" I retorted. I've noticed the lack of his movements and turned my head at him. He was frozen in spot while looking at me.

"Was that too much?" I asked.

"Sorry 'bout that. I didn't really know how to do it. You didn't wanna be cliche so... I've just did it in a way you'll less expect it." He admitted. I suddenly feel bad for him.

"Geez, you didn't have to try so hard" I shake my head. He nodded and continue eating his food in silence.

Gahd.

Didn't know he still feel bad about that.

The day continued on, I helped Karma and Rio to convince Kayano to give Nagisa the chocolate she made.

We all sat outside the window and breathed out in relief.

"Right, I'll be going now. I'm gonna be late to my date!" Rio said and waved goodbye to us.

"Shall we go home now?" Karma-kun asked. I nodded tiredly as he went to get our bag.

A few seconds after he handed me my bag. On our way, I could feel him kept on looking at me. Must be waiting for his sweet.

As we neared the house. He let out a defeated sigh. He was frowning to himself when he left to go home.

Karma-kun's really funny.

Karma's Point Of View

Once I reached my house, I flopped down to the couch and sighed.

I've received confessions and chocolates from the girls all over the campus. My classmates were the one who ate it.

There's still probably a few some left on the corner that I wasn't able to find earlier.

As I opened the bag, a food container appeared in my sight.

'So there's still one left' I thought as I pull out the chocolate from the bag.

I stared at it for a moment contemplating whether to throw it away or not.

I decided to search in my bag for more, there's still a few lil' ones left, and a small card saying,

'𝖣𝗈𝗇'𝗍 𝗍𝗁𝗋𝗈𝗐 𝖺𝗐𝖺𝗒 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗈𝗇𝖾 𝗂𝗇 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝖼𝗈𝗇𝗍𝖺𝗂𝗇𝖾𝗋 >////<'

-𝗀𝗎𝖾𝗌𝗌 𝗐𝗁𝗈 ˉ³ˉ'

I laughed at the familiar emoticon and opened the container. It's a heart-shaped chocolate and strawberry flavoured cake.

Thought she forgot :').
