🌶Chapter 29

You sat in your seat in your office munching on chillis.

Karma sat in front of you, thinking to himself that he couldn't doubt you that child in your womb is his.

First, the cravings screams it's his.
Second, there's no way you'll go behind his back.

Well, wondering why he's here. He ditched his work saying there's nothing much to do and is here to watch over you.

You put one last chilli in your mouth but Karma leaned forward and took a bite from it.

"Wah- you buy me food when we go home" you glared at him.

"I always does" he said, realizing there were almost no days you two won't pass by a store to buy something.

"Right! I want those spicy chips" you said referring to the ones the two of you bought from the super-market last week.

"'kay" Karma nodded keeping an eye to the clock.

"We haven't thought of a name" he suddenly blurted out.

"We don't even know it's gender yet"
you replied, eyeing the very few files infront of you. Karasuma's on Karma's side again. They almost won't let you work.

"Right!!" Karma laughed being a bit too excited about picking names, and now... he felt so stupid because of it.

"We can worry about that later, but I have two names in mind for both gender" you said.

"Thought we'll worry about that later?" Karma rose a brow.

"I just happened to come across it a few times" You admitted, finishing the last page.

"And the names are?"

"Emiko if it's a girl and Yuichi if it's a boy or maybe Yuu"

"Are you sure you only came across this?" Karma eyed you suspiciously.

"Actually no" You grinned cheekily.

"Knew it" the tomato rolled it's eyes on you

"But still. The names have great meanings, right?" you practically jumped off your seat, Karma only nodded in response and bit of sweat dropped.

"TIME TO GO HOME, KARMA!" you screamed. Karma covered his ears as the two of you left your office.

"We don't even know the gender yet" Karma said as the two of you went shopping for baby clothes.

"Then we can buy clothes for both gender" you replied.

"Right right"

The two of you went here and there buying clothes and toys, enjoying the peaceful time picking stuffs. Well you're picking stuffs, Karma's just following you around.

"I just swore to myself I'm never having a child like twenty years before" you admitted, Karma hummed in response.

"Are you bored?" you eyed him. Karma shakes his head vigorously.

"Hmm?" you leaned closer, Karma moved away from you and turned his head to the other side.

"We're acting like teenagers" you shakes your head and walked ahead.

"Karma, are you okay?" you asked your husband as the two of you made your way to your house.

"I'm dying to know it's gender" he wailed.

You laughed at his response and looked forward.

"Me too. But it'll be better if we wait 'til it's born" you smiled, placing hand on the bump on your stomach.

"I knowwwww" He wailed once again.

You couldn't help but laughed at him the whole ride as he continue to complain about why do pregnancy have to take nine months.

You've managed to reach your house after thirty minutes.

Why so long?

Karma's didn't want to drive fast, he's being way too cautious. Once you've stepped a food in the house, it was your turn to complain to him.

And in response, he was the one laughing now.

"Are you hungry?" He asked. The two of you just ate like an hour ago, but not even that can stop your cravings.

"Oh you already know the answer" you winked and went to change your clothes.

Karma rolled his eyes playfully and went to the kitchen.

Minuted later the two of you are stick in the livingroom playing board games.

"Karma, let's make a bet," you brought up earning his attention.

"You've been losing since we start, are you sure?" he squinted his eyes at you.

"No, about the baby's gender" you smiled, Karma frowned, trying to guess what the gender would be.

"It'll be a girl" Karma said.

"You sure? It'll be a boy that'll look like mini version of you" you smirked proudly.

"Nahh, I doubt that" Karma shakes his head.

"A boy"

"A girl"

"BOY!"

"Thought it's just gonna be a bet!"
