After assessing our actions we were all told that we had all passed their checks. Soon the Kiriko were taking us to the city in which the Hunter Exam would take place. I'm not even going to deny that a part of me started feeling sick being so high up in the air. I kept on repeating, "you won't fall" over and over to myself. As if, if I fell the air would catch me! It didn't help my situation that the ground looked so far down, and I could just imagine what would happen if the Kiriko were to just accidentally let me go. You could tell I was extremely relieved  when we landed. Now, we're so close to finally taking the Hunter Exams!

Y/n's POV

"Zaban city, one of the most prosperous cities in this area. It's filled to the brim with scam artists and shady dealers," The son says as he leads us through a sea of vendors.  Gon had dragged me to almost every stand. We both knew that most of the "rare artifacts" were just pieces of junk that cost more than what the original was worth. We ended up buying only buying a cat figure that was made out of glass with a plastic casing.

Ever since we passed the Kiriko's trial, Kurapika and mine's relationship had become...relaxed in some sense. We joked around and talked more than before. It felt...nice. I was going to talk to Kurapika when I felt someone grab my wrist. I turned around to find a man that was at least one foot taller than me and probabaly only a bit wider than me, and blatantly intoxicated.

"My name is Kai and *hic* me and my friends sell rare jewelry. You should *hic*  buy some. Someone as *hic* beautiful as you deserves jewelry just as pretty. Only 300 *hic* Jenny per piece of jewelry. You can't pass up this offer," the man says, a little bit more aggressively at the end. I was clearly uncomfortable, and I couldn't tell if the others were aware of what was happening. I pull my arm away from his grasp, and put some distance between him and I. Now he looks angry. He walks forward and reaches for me again. By this point he's irritated me, so I grab his arm with one hand and pull his hair back with the other. I spin him so that his head is still pulled back. Then in a menacing tone I whisper into his ear, "If you ever touch me or anyone else again I will cut off your arms and feed them to you. I'll start off by cutting off your fingers and I'll make you watch as I do it,"

I push him away from me and walk away. I brush the man's germs off my hands on my shirt. I look up and see Gon waiting for me and everyone else still walking to the Hunter Exam site. I quickly join up with them again. We were walking in silence until  Kurapika turns to me and asks, "Hey, why weren't you with us earlier,"

I share a knowing look with Gon, look back at the waiting expression on Kurapika's face before shrugging and  answering, "I was taking care of something,"

   "Oh, what were you doing?"

"Uhh, well I- I was just talking with one of the vendors,"

"But-," Kurapika started to say before the Kiriko's son interrupted him, "This is it. The Hunter Exam is this building,"

We look to where he motioned the site was, and there stood a large building with so many floors that counting them would take at least an hour. It is kind of flashy for a building that's supposed to be a hidden spot for the Exams.

"Wow! This is where the Hunter Exam site is?" Gon looked amazed at the size of this building.

"After I pass the Hunter Exams I'll be one step closer to achieving my goal," I heard Kurapika almost silently whisper.

"So this is where I'll be passing the Exams," said Leorio with the confidence of a fish swimming towards fish bait.

   "Not that building, that one,"
