Ari:

"I can't believe this is what Aunt Marry gets us," Alex says.

"It's actually kind of cute," I said looking at the bathing suit, "it reminds me of the 50s."

"Probably because that's where it came from!" Alex wails. Okay, so our aunt is a little coo-coo. She isn't that rich but she loves sending us gifts at random times for random reasons. So, this gift are a whole bunch of bathing suits. Of course, all these bathing suits are from the 50s. And, they are pretty cute, just, out of style.

"Come on!" I exclaimed, "Just put the thing on!" Alex scowled at me and went to the bathroom. She came out in a blue spotted bikini.

"It brings out your eyes," I said nodding, "And the tan you so need." She stuck her tongue at me and I just rolled my eyes. I put my bathing suit on and we went downstairs. We were met by grandmother, Joey, and Nate.

"Hey," I said. Alex continued to shoot darts through her eyes at everyone.

"Lets go!" Joey said, "we'll be back by dinner time!" Joey called as we rushed out the door.

"But now," Joey said, "convertible, truck, or Mercedes?" We had a whole argument on which car to take until Nate said he's taking the convertible no matter what and I agreed with him while Alex and Joey took the truck.

"So," Nate said, "Why are you here?"

"No reason," I quickly said staring out the window, "No reason at all, just a visits, I mean, um, a stay.

"I'm not buying it, but okay," he said.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"Long story," he said.

"Well it's a good thing that we're gonna be on the beach all day, you can tell me then," I said. He pouted.

"You're so pushy," he said.

"You're so pushy," I mimicked him. He laughed rolling his eyes. A few minutes later we reached the beach and we hopped out.

"This feel nice," I said stretching my arms out, "nothing like a summer day in L.A."

Alex:

Joey and I get out of the car and spot Nate and Ari talking leaning against the car. Nothing like a scorching day in Hades.

"Hey, over here!" Joey calls to them. They come walking over and we walk together on the beach. We set up "camp" and Ari and I lay back getting our tans on. More like, her just laying there and me getting sun burned even though I'm still wearing my shorts and T-shirt.

"It's so hot!" I whine.

"Then go swimming," Ari answered without opening her eyes. I roll my eyes and get up. I take my shorts and top off and I rub more sun screen on. I wait for a little bit to let the sun screen soak into my then Nate waves me over. He's talking to a guy holding a surf board. I groan and stand up. I jog over there and just stand there.

"What?" I asked bored. I looked off into the ocean.

"This is my friend, Mike," he said.

"Hey Mikey," I said looking at him, "I'm Alex, call me Alex." Mike laughed. Even though I seemed calm, no one could ignore the fact that he was cute.

"Hey, Alex," he said.

"That's my lazy friend walking over, she's Ari," I said looking at Ari as she slowly trudged.

"Alexandra, you left me," Ari said, "Oh hi."

"Hi," Mike said, "I'm Mike."

"Nice to meet you Mike, I'm sure you've met my lazy friend Alex," she said. Nate rolled his eyes while laughing.
