Alex:

"Do you think's she's gonna be alright?" I asked Mike. When he's serious, he's like my own personal therapist.

"She's gonna fine," he said, "I think we should stop asking her about it and we need to give her some breathing space. And, why is the smoothy shop guy here again?"

"Long story short," I said, "I really have no idea. Something about one eyed man and crazy ladies. But, I think they like each other." Mike made an O with his mouth.

"What?" I asked.

"Daniel doesn't seem so happy about that," he said. I glanced at Daniel he was reading a ginormous book on, elephants? When did we even get that?

"He reads a lot when he's, angry, sad, or depressed," Mike said, "I'm guessing he's all the above."

"Aw," I said, "poor Danny. He needs to step up his game. Ari giggles whenever I mention his name." Mike laughed.

"We should help him," he said. I glanced at Daniel again. He was now reading a book on how fish hibernate.

"I think he's hopeless," I whispered. Mike elbowed me and I laughed.

"Sorry," I said, "Fine, we'll help. With my awesomeness and your, umm, personality? We can help him woo Ari."

"My personality?" Mike said looking hurt, "What about my swag? And who uses the word woo nowadays?"

"I do," I said, "And fine, your swag."

"Thank you," he said, "Come on." We casually walked up to Daniel and I snatched up his book. Mike and I ran upstairs Daniel in pursuit. I'm glad Mike and I think the same way. We ran into a room me going in and Daniel following. Mike came in and slammed the door, locking it.

"uh, what are you guys doing?" Daniel said, "Can you please give me back my book?"

"Nope!" I said.

"Fine," he said taking out his phone. He started doing something on it. At least he has a social life.

"Who are you texting?" I asked.

"I'm not texting anyone," he said, "I'm learning about how to get rid of annoying people." I rolled my eyes.

"We're here to help you," I said.

"With what?" He said.

"Wooing Ari," I said.

"No one uses word," Mike mumbled. I glared at him and he looked around the room like it was the most interesting thing in the world.

"What makes you think I want to 'woo' Ari?" Daniel said folding his arms.

"Well, do you?" I asked.

"Well," he said, "She seems happy." He shrugged, "That's cool withe me." I gasped dramatically.

"So your going to let Nick steal your woman?" I said, "I'm so, so, sooooo disappointed in you Danny. I thought you were better than this! Just giving up!" I scoffed in disgust.

"What could you even do?" He asked. I gasped again.

"What could I do?" I said, "I can help you. You need my help! I know everything about Ari, and you're asking me what I could do?"

"Just say yes," Mike said, "Before it gets ugly." My face was red and I was pretty sure steam was coming out of my ears.

"Uh. Sure," Daniel said.
