Alex:

I wake up to something...Wet and cold. I scream and my eyes widen. Ari stands above me with an empty cup. Her eyes widen and she bites her lip, trying to hide a smile. She hops off me bed and runs out of the room. Oh, she better run. I jump up and chase after her.

"Grandmother!" I yelled, "Ariana just dumped water on me."

"Grandfather!" Ari yelled, "Alexandra is trying to kill me!" We ran around and then literally bumped into each other. We fell back and I landed at the feet of Grandma. Ari landed at the feet of Joey.

"What is going on here?" Grandma asked.

"Well," we both say. Then we started talking all at once.

"Girls!" Grandma said, "What do kids these day say, 'shut up!'" We all just stare at her. She took a deep breath.

"Get ready for school, please," she said. Ari and I got up slowly and walked back to our rooms quietly.

"I'm gonna kill you today," I said sweetly.

"I'm gonna crush you into dust," Ari said dreamily.

"Because you know I'm all about that bass, bout that bass, no treble!" We cruise to school in grandpa's truck.

"I'm bringing booty back!" Ari sang.

"Go ahead and tell em skinny poopies that," I sang making Ari laugh.

"Nah, I'm just playing, I know you think your fat!" She sang.

"But I'm here to tell you every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top!" After a few more songs, we made it. It was a pretty small school. Only a few cars were there.

"I'm gonna hate this," I mumbled.

"We don't really have a choice," Ari said. We got out and we walked into the main building. After getting our schedule we sat on a bench and looked it over.

"We only have four classes," Ari said, "And a lot of time in between." she was right. We only had biology, history, math, and french. Not bad.

"I'll still hate this," I mumbled. That was what I was thinking until I saw a familiar person walking. By familiar person I mean Mike. My yes widened and Ari turned towards me gaze. She grinned.

"Mike!" She shouted. Mike grinned and waved. I wanted to hide. He walked over.

"What are you guys doing here?" he asked.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"We go into some trouble and grandma is making us go here as punish- ," Ari's big mouth flaps yet again. I put my hand over her mouth and smile.

"We just strive to get smarter, even in the summer," I said. Ari shakes her no.

"Mmmhmhhmmmhhmhmmh," Ari continues to speak, "Mmmmmmmmmhmhmmhmhmhmhmhmh." I remove my hand and Ari takes a deep breath.

"Yeah, that's pretty much it," she said smiling.

"You guys are so crazy," he said, "but, it's pretty cool." He sat next to me and tried not to do anything stupid.

"So, why are you here?" I asked.

"Well, I haven't been doing school all year last year, so now I have to make it up," he said.

"Wow," I said.

"Yeah," he said. My day got this much better again when Nate walked in.

"Wow," Nate said.

"Yahooo!" Ari said, "Let's make it a party!"

"What are you guys doing here?" He asked. We explained.
