Ari:
"So, so, so," I said to Addy grinning, "How's your day goin?"
"Good," she said as we sipped our smoothies.
"How was yesterday?" I asked.
"That was good, too," she said, "like it was the day before that, and that."
"Okay," I said sighing, "I'm sorry, it's I've been waiting for you two to get together and I'm just wanting to know how it's going."
"It's going fine," she said smiling, "he's just busy with his family and all." I nodded.
"But last night he took me out to dinner," she giggled, "and he held my and he kissed my forehead." She sighed dreamily.
"You guys are going to be so cute," I said.
"So, what about you?" She asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Your love life, duh," she said.
"Oh," I said, "nothing really, like it was since eighth grade." She laughed.
"You haven't had a boyfriend since Max Brewer?" She said.
"Yup," I said, "I totally forgot his name was Max, I thought it was Mac." She laughed shaking her head.
"You know," she said, "I know a guy."
"Don't," I said warningly, "you will not, start setting up with boys."
"I won't," she said, "I promise." Then, our waiter came.
"I'll pay," I said.
"Oh," Addy said, "free breakfast, I love you Ari." I rolled my eyes and put down a fifty and two ones.
"The extra is your tip," I said to him.
"That's like, thirty dollars," he said.
"I know," I said, "I'm feeling generous today."
"Well," he said with a grin, "Come any time. And make sure to have me as your waiter." I laughed.
"Alright," I said, "I'm Ari."
"Nick," he said. When we left Addy elbowed me.
"What?" I asked.
"You are an expert flirter," she said.
"Flirting?" I asked, "who was flirting?"
"You, you little stinker," she said, "With, gasp, Nick."
"Oh," I said, "that was called contrasting."
"Well, we're going to have to come there again!" She said.
"Uh, okay," I said, "But you know, if you want to watch some's love life, I think Mike and Alex are at the beach." We squealed and hopped in Addy's car. We sped off to the beach. We snuck behind people and spotted them in the water. Alex was laughing as Mike tried standing on one foot on his board. He, of course, failed and flopped into the water. He didn't come up for a while and when he suddenly popped up from the water, he pulled Alex into the water with him. Addy grinned.
"Do you think they even realize they keep flirting with each other without even knowing it?" She asked. I laughed. They started having a water fight and we watched them for a while, then they started coming to shore.
"Quick, go! Go! Go!" I said. We went back in her car and drove to grandma and grandpa's house. When we walked in, laughing hysterically we were not expecting to see Nate's family, Nate grandma and grandpa in a serious conversation.
