Ari:

"Four more days until ma birthday, ma birthday!" Alex sang, using her hair brush as a microphone.

"And only two more days, until ma birthdayyyyyy! Ma birthdaaaaaay!" I sang jumped on the bed. Then suddenly, my phone rang.

"Helllllloooooooooo," I said.

"Ariana!" Mrs. Hanser practically shouted for joy, "ever since you guys had that idea of making the children write bios for themselves, over thirty couples came looking for adoption!" I put the phone on speaker.

"Really?" I asked, "is anyone ready to adopt?"

"A few!" she said excitedly, "I'm just so thankful for you girls." She started to sniff.

"Mrs. Hanser, please don't cry," Alex said.

"I'm not crying!" Mrs. Hanser said, "Just, my office is dusty."

"Uhuh," Alex said, "We know you love us."

"I can sense your head growing Alexandra," she said. Alex laughed.

"We love you too Mrs. Hanser," we said cheekily. We could hear her laugh.

"Are you girls coming today?" She asked.

"Yeah!" I exclaimed excitedly, "We were wondering if, the older ones could come to Alex and I's birthday party?"

"Of course!" She said, "Just have them back by nine."

"Okay," we agreed.

"And," she seemed to hesitate, "Could you make it for Edward too? It's his fourteenth and I think he seemed to have forgotten." Alex grinned at me.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking what I'm thinking?" Alex asked grinning.

"Surprise party!" We say together. Mrs. Hanser laughed.

"Alright I'll leave it to you guys to make the details," she said. We said bye and we squealed in delight.

"Okay," I said, "We just need to sweet talk the teachers into allowing us to hold the party here!"

"Hey," Nate said, "I can ask the art teacher, maybe she can asked all the other teachers."

"Yessss!" Alex said. I clapped my hands.

"Mike, maybe you can start teaching him to surf while we set up?" I asked.

"Honored," he said.

"Great!" I said.

"This is gonna be awesome!" Addy said, "I love that kid."

"And he loves you too," I said nudging her. She laughed.

"We also need to find him a girlfriend," she said.

"Any volunteers?" Alex asked loudly. Everyone turned to look at us.

"It's alright!" I said, "She's just excited." Everyone was silent.

"Um, you guys are invited to a party Saturday," Addy said. Still silence.

"we'll have free pizza," Mike said. Then everyone hooted and hollered and continued talking.

"There's lost of pretty girls around here, I'm sure Edward will get a girl," Nate said.

"And I'll stay forever alone," Mike fake wept.

"True," Alex said thoughtfully. Mikey glared at her.

"I like being single," I said, "You know, you can stare at cute boys without having your significant other being all jelly-jelly." Addy sighed dreamily.
