I'll fix the mistakes later.....Probably not.....
Ari:
"Ari, we need to talk," my dad said. Uh-oh.
"About what?" I asked.
"Come on," he said. We went outside on the porch. I sat on the porch swing and he sat on the chair in front of me.
"Why are you being so mean to me?" He whined. I felt a little relieved. At least it wasn't one of those awkward daddy daughter talks.
"Why are you being so mean to me?" I asked.
"Ari," my dad said seriously, "You are no longer in trouble, you have food everyday, you have clothes, you have a house and a family. You have no reason to be mad at anyone. You are acting like a spoiled two year old." I sighed.
"I'm sorry," I said, "it's just, I really liked it back there. We actually did learn a lot of things."
"I know," my dad said meekly, "We just don't have the money to just ship you off to California." I stared at him, dumbfounded. Don't have the money? Don't have the money my.....Wait, he isn't joking.
"What do you mean?" I asked. He started fidgeting.
"Well, uh," he said. He smiled a little sheepishly, "Well, we have the money, it's just we need to be a little more careful with our money and stuff because...."
"Because what?" I demanded.
"Well," he said, "I can't do this." He face palmed, "One second." He wen inside and came out with mom. What is the big deal? My mom was smiling from ear to ear.
"Ari, I'm pregnant," she said. My jaw dropped farther than Tartarus.
"Wait," I said, "What?"
"You're going to be a big sister!" my mom squealed. She hugged me and I held my breath.
"Ari, say something," my dad said.
"I'm just, wow," I said, "This is great!" We did a group hug.
"So," I said, "What it's name gonna be? What gender is it?"
"We're not sure yet," my mom said, "But if it's a boy his name is going to be Andrew."
"Wrong answer," my dad said, "it will be James...Junior." I laughed.
"What's funny?" Alex asked coming. I started jumping up and down.
"ALEX!" I shouted, "You won't believe it! GUESS! GUESS!"
"Um," she said.
"I'M GOING TO BE A BIG SISTER!" I shouted.
"Wait," she stopped processing everything, "OH MY GOSH!" We squealed like little girls.
"Oh my gosh this is so great!" She said.
"Oh wow," I said, "I'm gonna big a big sister." Alex grinned.
"This is going to be so much fun!" She said.
Meanwhile in California........
Ivory:
"What's that?" I asked.
"Nothing!" Edward said quickly covering up his drawing.
"Why can't I see?" I asked.
"It isn't finished," he mumbled. I rolled my eyes. He never lets anyone see his pictures until it's totally finished.
"Mrs. Hanser said some couples were gonna come," I said slowly.
