Telling Janette

I put my phone in my pocket and ran to the hospital as quickly as I could.

"Can I please see Janette, it's an emergency!" I said as I got to the front desk.

"Visiting hours are over Sir, you'll have to come back in the morning."

"This can't wait until the morning, I have to see her now."

"Lynne it's okay, this is Janette's boyfriend, he can go up!" Fiona said coming towards us.

"Oh I see!"

"Thank you Fiona!"

"What's the emergency?" Fiona asked.

"I found out my Mum and Dad were both planning to hurt Janette! I have to tell her."

"Oh my goodness. Well Dianne's in there too! Does she know?"

"Yes but I asked her not to say anything until I got here." I sprinted up to Janette's room and banged on the door as loud as I could.

"Aljaz what's wrong?!" Janette said jumping.

"Janette darling, my Dad is protecting my Mum, he knew all along what my Mum was up to and he doesn't want her to get caught."

"See I told you Dianne, I knew he was in on it too!!" Janette said starting to cry.

"Calm down Bučka! We're all going to the police station right now to tell them! I'm not going to let them get away with this!"

"I want to come too!" Janette said getting out of bed.

"Janette don't be stupid, you can't leave now, you aren't strong enough yet!"

"Aljaz I want to come with you!"

"No Bučka I can't let you come with us!"

"I just want out of here and back in my own bed, I'm not going to sleep here!"

"Janette remember the nurses are always here for you! You can always talk to them if you don't feel safe!"

"I just want to be with you at all times!"

"I know but you have to stay here until the nurses say you're ready to go home."

"Aljaz everyone's outside, are you ready?" Dianne said.

"See you later Bučka! I'll come and see you first thing tomorrow morning! My Mum and Dad are not going to get away with this!"

"Bye Bučko! I love you!!"

Me and Dianne left the room and met everyone outside.

"How is she?" Nadiya asked.

"Completely shaken up and scared but she'll be okay once my Mum and Dad are behind bars for this! Come on let's go!"

We left the hospital and made our way to the police station.

"Wait Aljaz, do you have any proof that they did it? They might not believe you!" AJ asked.

"Yes I have my Dad confessing to the whole thing recorded on my phone! That should be enough evidence for them!"

We all walked in and got to the front desk.

"Hi I need to speak to Officer Milner straight away! It's important!"

"Of course I'll get him for you just now!"

"Hello everyone! What's happened now?" Officer Milner said coming out of his office.

"Sir I have evidence that my Mum and Dad are working together to hurt Janette!"

"Why don't you come into my office? Everyone else wait outside please!"

"Okay."

"What's your evidence Aljaz?"

"I caught my Dad on tape confessing to it, he said he's never liked Janette and they wanted to get rid of her so that I would stay with them forever. You have to stop them before they get to the hospital! They won't let the nurses stop them from hurting Janette!"

"Calm down Aljaz! I will put the hospital into high alert and everyone will be told to keep an eye out for them and they will not get in! In the meantime, we will go round to your house to see if they are still there, if they are they will be arrested on the spot!"

"Thank you Sir!"
