Missing Appeal

"Good afternoon everyone, I am Officer Milner, today we are here to ask if anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Janette Manrara and Natasa Skorjanec. Janette's boyfriend and Natasa's son Aljaz is here to give a description of them, if you have seen either Janette or Natasa, please get in contact!"

"Hello everyone, my name is Aljaz Skorjanec, and I am asking you all to look for my girlfriend and my Mum. I have reason to believe that my Mum has kidnapped Janette and is holding her hostage somewhere! Janette is 16 years old but she is very small, she is only five foot tall, she has long brown hair and brown eyes. My Mum is five foot five inches and she has short brown hair and blue eyes, she is 35 years old. Please if you have seen anyone matching these descriptions in the past couple of days, let me or the police know!! I am willing to give an award to anyone who can tell me where Janette is! Thank you for listening!"

We came home and almost instantly our phone began ringing.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hello! My name is Evan Mackay, I'm calling in regards to your missing person appeal for your girlfriend and Mother."

I put the phone on speaker so my Dad could hear too.

"Where did you see them? Is this is genuine sighting? I'm not in the mood to mess about!" My Dad said.

"I saw a woman of your Mothers description carrying a young girl, that looked like Janette, in her arms and she walked into an abandoned building on the other side of the town. I'm absolutely certain now that it was your Mother with Janette!"

I stated to cry with happiness. Someone had genuinely seen my Mum and Janette that day, I was one step closer to finding her!

"Can you describe what the building looks like?"

"It's down from the big supermarket at the end of the street, it looks like something straight from a horror movie, I hate thinking about poor Janette being in there." Evan said.

"Thank you so much for your help Evan! Are you happy with me passing this conversation to the police, so we can go to this building and find her."

"Of course! I would hate to be in your situation right now! I want to do anything I can to help!"

"You have certainly helped us right now Evan, thank you again!"

My Dad put the phone down and hugged me tightly, I was getting Janette back and my Mum was going to prison!
