25. A Colorful Prank

"So what happened with Sirius over Christmas" Lily asked walking into the compartment that Izzy was sitting in.

"What" Izzy's eyes widened as she tried to contain her internal panic wondering how she figured out what had happened.

"You know the whole 'living with the Potters' thing that you wrote me about" Lily said, shoving her bag into the over head rack.

"Oh that" Izzy breathed a sigh of relief "Erm I'm not sure how much I'm able to say. Dumbledore was there and it was pretty intense"

"Really" Lily sat down across from Izzy "I didn't know he made house calls"

"I think in this situation it was necessary" Izzy looked out the window to see James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter walking towards the train together. She had decided to go ahead before Peter arrived there so she could avoid seeing him. The last thing she wanted to do was deal with the awkwardness that was sure to come after the kiss.

"That lot seems quite happy to be reunited" Lily moved so that she could see what Izzy was looking at.

"Hardly reuniting" Izzy scoffed "They were all together a couple days ago"

"I can't believe them" a loud voice echoed from down the hallway of their compartment. Lily and Izzy poked their heads out to see a very angry Marlene with Dorcus walking towards them "The audacity they have". Izzy and Lily looked at each other questionably as they stormed into the compartment. "They have no right"

"What happened" Izzy asked looking at Marlene

"That bloody Crouch and Mucliber is what fucking happened" Marlene sat down in a huff as Dorcas sat down next to her calmingly rubbing her back.

"They said a few things when we were holding hands at the station that were well hateful to say the least" Dorcas explained

"Piece of shit Slytherins" Marlene growled Dorcas nodded along with her.

In one split second Izzy was up out of her seat reaching for the compartment door. "Where are you going" Lily asked

"To punch the two pieces of shit" Izzy said calmly while walking out of the compartment. She began storming towards the Slytherin train car. Izzy was certain that if it were possible she would have steam coming out of her ears from how angry she felt.

She was nearing the door when she ran into someone "Out of my way" she said not paying attention to whoever she had bumped into.

"Iz what's wrong" Izzy looked up to see Sirius looking at her in a concerned manner.

"Nothing just move" Izzy commanded trying to push past him.

"I don't think so" Sirius turned her around and marched her back to the compartment where the rest of the Marauders were sitting.

"What are you two doing together?" Remus exclaimed when he saw them walk in together.

"She ran into me and is now trying to get over to the Slytherin train car" Sirius explained

"Speaking of which I'll be on my way now" Izzy said trying to maneuver around Sirius who was blocking the exit.

"Hey! No touching!" Remus hollered loudly. Both James and Peter looked moderately surprised by his outburst.

Izzy rolled her eyes and slumped into the seat next to Remus defeatedly. "What's going on?" James asked

"The fucking Slytherins said something to Marlene and Dorcas" Izzy snarled

At that Sirius rose about to March out of the compartment when Remus grabbed his hand and shook his head "Don't, it's not worth a detention. Plus we can get them back with the prank"
