"Ugh!" Riley exclaimed as she slammed the motel door closed.

Sam and Dean looked up at her with confused, wide eyed expressions.

"Ugh, to you too." Sam said, trying not to smile.

"Who's pissed you off?" Dean said, returning his gaze to the laptop in front of him.

Riley sighed and dropped onto the couch beside Sam. She laid her head in his lap and put her feet up on the armrest, laying on her back. "My Aunt."

"Which one?" Sam said.

"Gladys." Riley rolled her eyes.

"Oooh, ouch." Sam winced.

"What's so bad about Aunt Gladys?" Dean raised a brow.

"She thinks Riley is wasting her time trying  to become a medical professional." Sam answered for her.

"What would she rather you be doing?" Dean glanced at her.

"She'd rather I was like her and played the happy little housewife who spent all day cooking and cleaning to please a man." Riley rolled her eyes.

Dean snorted a laugh. "It's a good job she doesn't know what you're really doing these days then."

"Oh I'd love to tell her, not that she'd believe me mind you." Riley said. She let out another loud, over the top sigh and dropped her hand on her forehead.

"How about a new gig to take your mind off things?" Dean asked, clicking on the laptop.

"You found something?" Sam said, sitting up straight.

Riley rolled off Sam's lap and walked over to Dean. She leant her arm on his shoulder and leant forward, reading the news report on the screen. An elderly man in Colorado, Daniel Elkins, had been murdered by a gang of people outside a bar.

"Who gangs up on an old man?" Riley exclaimed. "Poor thing."

"Daniel Elkins wasn't just any old man." Dean shook his head. He reached behind Riley and pulled his fathers journal out of his bag. "Look, he's mentioned a few times in Dad's journal."

"What are we waiting for then, lets go." Sam said.

They packed up their stuff and headed for Colorado. Dean was easily able to find Elkins' address and they pulled up outside his cabin shortly after. Riley got out the car and walked towards the cabin to find the door swinging from its hinges. She pulled on Sam's sleeve and pointed at the door. The three of them raced inside to see the place had been done over. Riley figured that whoever had ransacked the place must have been looking for something, because  they had turned it upside down. They split up and started searching through the mess for any indication of who Daniel Elkins was and why he'd be targeted.

Riley was sifting through some paper when she spotted something leather sticking out from the bottom of a drawer. She picked it up and was instantly reminded of the journal Dean carried around with him, John's journal. She flipped it over and saw a yellow sticky note stuck to the back.

"Guys, I think I found something." Riley said, waving the journal.

Sam and Dean hurried over and Dean took one look at the journal before his eyes turned firm. He pulled out his fathers journal and held the two books side by side. They were almost identical. Riley told Dean to flip it over and Dean read the note stuck to the back.

"It's a post office box combination. It's a mail drop." Dean said certainly.

"How do you know?" Sam said.
