C11 Don't disappoint me

The next day Ivy woke up with a headache.
" You are awake"a deep voice rang besides her ear. She opened her eyes and stared blankly.

"Get up! I'll wait outside"He said as he went out of the bedroom.
"Okay" she replied.  Ivy was still in the maroon suit, she changed then walked out.
"Dad why are you here?" She asked. The gentleman was Ivy's adoptive father, whenever he appeared Delvis disappeared, that betrayer.

"Little V what did you find?" he got straight to the point.
Ivy took out her phone and passed it to him " That's his face, he was speaking with someone called Boss P and they left something with Fatman Don".

"His name is Black cat, Find out what it is by tonight" Father Cruz smiled warmly " little V I'll be going abroad for business I'll leave this for you to get to the bottom of things, sigh I shall leave now, take care and stay away from alcohol will you?"

She smiled cheekily and nodded.
"Dad any progress on the investigation of the accident?"
He avoided her eyes and says, " little V leave such things to me, I'll let you know if there is any progress but don't except too much. I don't think this will lead anyway"

"Dad I trust you in this"

"I know little V take care, and watch that stinky boy Delvis"

" Yes I will"

when he turned around nobody noticed the guilt and pain reflected in his eyes.
Ivy stared at the door until his figure disappeared.

"Don't disappoint me Dad or else I wouldn't know what I would do." Her head still hurt which reminded her of that arrogant frog, luckily the rashes were gone she will definitely get back at him.

Ivy got dressed still in male clothes because it was more comfortable and made her way to the office. First thing she did was grab Delvis who was hiding in his office," you brat you betrayed me and left me alone all drunk with dad where is your concious".

"Sis calm down. Wow why are you so handsome are you competing with someone in looks?" He teased.

"Shut up I'm simply tired of make-up stop thinking too much"

"Erm has dad left?"
" You still dare ask me? He is right outside"

"What? sis please I beg you I'll do anything you say even be your personal cleaner just make him go away, I didn't leave on purpose I left by mistake, you see yesterday when he saw you drunk with rashes he kicked me all over and almost disfigured my face saying it's all my fault, sis if I didn't escape would you still have your handsome vice President? Come on tell me " Delvis panicked.

"Left by mistake"The great words of Delvis Cruz." Idiot he left"

"Ah really? That's good, good good. By the way I have news , Amazon L wants to have a collaboration with us ,the meeting is set next week.

" What? He wants to collaborate, what could he be up too?" Ivy found it fishy.

" Yes and what happened to you yesterday nobody has ever made you drink before, tell me was he enticed by your looks?" Delvis curiosity itched.

" Mind your own business I will deal with him"
" You are no fun. Those traitors fell for the trap,we have evidence regarding Old Zuna meeting our rivals. Those directors are probably anxious because you pushed them to a corner".

Delvis continued,"If they don't get the deal your way they have to rebel and to topple you,  the best candidate is Filing Group our beloved rivals. All we have to do is sit back and watch them make a fool of themselves".
Ivy smiked.

There was a knock on the door at which secretary KM walked in," Vice President something happened and the investors are pulling out their investments from project S they are saying that there is something wrong with the project and that it's a loss. Something happened to the supplies that were to be delivered today ".

"Wow that was fast, looks like they already made their move, KM gather the managers incharge of project S and the board of directors it's show time", Delvis instructed before gazing at Ivy.

"Yes sir",KM quickly left.

"Miss Ivy are you ready to be ganged upon ohh in male version"

"Ha boy I'm always ready ", Ivy laughed. Drama drama here I come.
