She walked in her glass office and sat on her huge grey chair followed by her secretary K.M . Just then a handsome young man wearing a dignified ,elegant blue suite with a serious face walked in. "Sister I heard you froze everyone in today's meeting".
That's right he was none other than Ivy's brother Delvis Cruz. Although they were not blood related they were close.
"Yea ,they are all so restless they better get this done with or else..."Ivy replied "anyway Mr Vice President what brings you here?"
He looked up and smiled" my dear sister I missed you , don't you miss me too? Just take a look at this handsome, breathtaking brother you have".
" Oh please stop exaggerating your looks"
"Sister, I'm not exaggerating just take a look, girls, aunties and even grannies look twice when they see me", Delvis defended himself.
Ivy tutted " who told you to go around with that face of yours seducing all age and gender huh?"
Delvis puts on a bullied face .
" Ting"
Ivy's phone lit up and it was a message for her cousin Sally telling her to come home.
"Looks like my aunt is seeking trouble again "she sighed helplessly.
" Sis you are so beautiful so why do you make yourself look like a hunter gatherer from Africa, Don't you feel tired with all that make up?"Delvis was displeased.
" It's not time yet Delvis , seeing you all free why don't you come with me and meet my aunt "Ivy teased.
"No way , I'm so breathtaking what if that wicked aunt falls for my looks, or stalks me then plots to make me marry her daughter, worst of frame's me after rejection and, and ruins my reputation then turns me to a slave ah sister you can't do this to me " Delvis shook his head.
K.M couldn't help but giggle while Ivy looked at Delvis amused" why do you always let your imagination run wild. You are quite suitable for the entertainment industry. An actor is what you should be. What do you say?"
" Dad would most definitely break my legs"
" Tsk, coward"
" I am not a coward sister, it's called pride okay?. One should know when to give in. I am so sensible you should praise me more"
Ivy smiled at him but Delvis suddenly had a bad feeling." Dear brother I indeed have a gift for you"
" What gift?"
" Nothing much just half of my work. More work"
" Well I would like to help but I just remembered that I am to meet a client today. We will talk later" he quickly runs away before Ivy could say anything.
Her and K.M looked at each other before laughing at his silly reaction.
"Gosh K.M you email the files to Delvis and we will discuss the rest later I got to go bye" she left the company and drove to her apartment.
