C16 Something nice

"The deal is simple ,you help me and I'll owe you a favour"he said picking up his bottle of water to sip.

"What could the capable Mr Lancastra need my help in?"

He got closer and she was surrounded by his scent and whispered" KKG"
Ivy turned serious and looked at him straight in the eye, she could still smell his fresh mint breathe," why do you think I'll agree to help you, for all I know you could be danger for me."

All he did was raise his eyebrows."I'll give you hours to consider, working with me makes it a lot easier. I can guarantee you won't die early.

Ivy look at him suspiciously" I'll think about it." She payed the bill and glanced at the man who also stood up " bye bye handsome uncle " Vance ignored Ivy and made his way out of the restaurant.

He came to ask for help but still behaves like he owns the country, how annoying.

There was a group of girls at the entrance that stopped to admire Vance. Although they wanted to approach him none of them dared because of the pressure he gave out, but surprisingly one of them courageously approached him .

" Hello Mr Lancastra I've heard so much about you, are you here to have a meal?" She asked sweetly.

"Who are you?" Vance glanced at her then looked away. Ivy leaned to a wall and a smirk was on her face"hehe"

"Ohh sorry I was not polite ,my name is  Shina the sister of Filing Groups CEO ."

"So?" He looked at the time then frowned. He smelt very strong perfume that he felt annoyed. "Move aside you are hurting my eyes"

"Hahaha"

They all turn to look at Ivy who was laughing to her content touching the wall for support .

Shina flushed from embarrassed. Her brother told her that Mr Vance wasn't someone easy to approach. She was in a bad mood the whole day and decided to show off in front of her friends and when she saw him she decided to try her luck but now she was totally embarrassed and being laughed at by that young man made it worse. She glared at Ivy.

"Ms Shina , shouldn't you be reuniting with your long lost brothers?" Ivy asked without holding back her grin.

Shina gritts her teeth" I'll get you for this" she turned and ran away in tears. Her friends quickly ran after her.

" What's so funny?" Vance asked.

"I sent her a little gift"

" Childish "he commented and started walking away. He could already imagine what Ivy sent.

Ivy glared at him. just you wait I'll send you a little gift as well this time containing...before she could finish her thoughts Vance stopped in his tracks and turned around , as if reading her mind said," don't even dare send me nonsense or else I'll throw you off a building"

Ivy frowned," what could you possibly be lacking? Can't you ever say something nice?"

" I can "
Ivy look at him expectedly waiting for him to say something nice like his words would change their relationship.

" Something nice" he said with all seriousness.

Ivy"... "

She shook her head," tsk tsk you are definitely going to die alone , nobody would dare marry you and if you do, your wife would die from depression if not for that face of yours she would maybe commit suicide. Do you even have friends? You are so cold and serious. I bet I'm the only one still standing alive when facing you because you need my help and if not for my strong mentality I would be hospitalised. You should be greatful you know I ... The atmosphere immediately changes to a dangerous one the weather turned cold despite the sun shining brightly the coldness  froze the environment.

Ivy didn't even think twice when she turned around and ran for her life , she didn't even look back to see if he was following, that was the fastest she ran her whole life. If looks could kill, Ivy would have turned into ashes a thousand times.

After finding a place to hide and making sure Vance wasn't following she finally relaxed." I have to get my revenge through this deal than run away far from this place he is too dangerous, sigh my life"
