She looked at her uncle as if asking what that had to do with her." Then let's talk when the time comes"

Luxis who sat next to her clenched her fist. She just couldn't believe how indifferent Ivy was towards her engagement with Jason when many girls would die for him. she absolutely didn't deserve him.

Uncle Philip sighed as he knew it wouldn't be easy to convince her but he had to do so because he didn't want Rose approaching her.

" Okay stay for dinner then"

He gave up for now.

She nodded and stood up to walk to her room leaving behind three irritated women. Ivy climbed the staircase heading to the second floor but paused going back to the door on the left of her uncles study room. She pushed the door open and a shelf filled with many books came to view. The room wasn't too big, on the side laid some boxes and old, dusty safe boxes.

She took out the keys she found along with the USB and photo and quickly tried fitting it in the first box. It didn't fit. She tried other boxes but no results. She stood up sighing when she heard a conversation between her uncle and aunt coming from next door, her uncles study room. Her hearing has always been very sharp. Ordinary people wouldn't be able to hear. Ivy moved closer to the wall and listened.

" Liza!"He slammed the table. "How many times do I have to talk to you about your behaviour towards Ivy? Huh? Did she kill your family? All you do is make noise praising your daughter that you have become blind with idiocy"

" Husband how can you say that? Why should I like her she is useless and has no manners at all!"

" Who asked you to like her? nobody wants your likes you think this is Facebook? and you talk about manners wasn't it your responsibility? Useless useless you are the one that's useless! she wasn't born to be useful to you! Crazy woman! don't forget how you got your little status and wealth today"

" Without the girl you call useless everyday you would be sucking up to those rich ladies to climb up the social class. What you have today doesn't belong to you in the first place so stop taking out your faustration on her because she knows nothing at all. Regardless of whether you like her or not she is my niece thus making me responsible for her wellbeing. Have you forgotten the Will her father left? Listen here, I am warning you that you better treat her well or else..."

Liza kept quiet throughout.

" Get out !"

The door opened and out came a crying wife who ran to her room.

Ivy froze. Her dad left a will? How come nobody told her?

Evening quickly came and dinner was prepared and laid on the table. Everyone was already sitted when Ivy came down last.

" Sister "
Sally called out and ran towards her for a hug. " I missed you so much ooh I have to show you something later. Come sit next to me"

Ivy smiled at her silly, innocent cousin who kept blabbing nonstop throughout the meal.

" Here have some meat I know it's your favourite sister you look much thinner are you on a diet?"

" No silly " Ivy also started putting some food in Sally's plate. The two looked so harmonious and blurred the rest of the family. Philip was happy to see such a scene but Liza and Luxis were not. Surprisingly  Liza didn't speak a word at all and kept her eyes on her plate.

After dinner Sally dragged Ivy to her room and locked the door. Luxis looked at them suspiciously and leaned over to eavesdrop. Ivy of course heard the movements outside and signaled Sally who understood.

She giggled then said," sister Ivy I wanted to show you something very very special and precious that am sure you are going to love wait let me take it out now"

"Okay hurry up then" Ivy moved to the door and quietly unlocked it then unexpectedly she flung the door open catching Luxis off guard. She appeared shocked that the door suddenly opened then got embarrassed that she got caught.

" So Luxis you found a new hobby huh?"

" No I ...I ..."

" You what? Forgot your own room? Shame I was going to invite you in but what a shame I caught you doing something so shameful"

" Sis what are you doing here?" Sally asked before her eyes widened," OMG are you you eavesdropping?"

Luxis panicked before saying out nervously" This ... this is my sister's room why do I need your permission to check her?"

" Oh I didn't know that this was the new trend of checking up on people. Sounds fun okay let me test it out you go to your room and let me ' check ' on you"

" Shut up" Luxis stomped her feet before running to her room.

"Hahaha" Sally laughed out," sister you were so mean"

Ivy just glanced at her closed door and smirked as if coming up with a wicked plan. " Show me quickly it's getting late"

" Oh right I designed a dress for you I hope you like it I want you to wear it at your engagement party"

She took out a box but Ivy did not open it," thank you silly I will definitely like it after all it came from the great designer Sally but I won't open it today"

Sally grinned from ear to ear," awesome  you open it on the day you get engaged"

"I will ,now it's time to go to bed " she kissed her on the forehead and Sally did the same before getting in bed.

" Good night sister "

"Good night"

Ivy closed her door before making her way to hers with the box. She had to figure out something tonight before leaving and it was the 'Will'  she had never heard off.

She dropped everything and changed her clothes. Only after locking the door did she open her window before disappearing into the darkness.

"Click" the door to the study room opened. The figure swept her gaze across the whole room before walking under the desk. She opened the drawer and a silver safe box came to view. She used her mini tablet to get the pin and it opened up. Inside was another lock but now it needed a key. She frowned and stood up. On the table was no sight of any key so she checked the whole room but found nothing. She touched her pocket and took out the key she had and tried fitting it in and when it worked her eyes brightened. She twisted the lock and found a folder written CONFIDENTIAL in capital letters inside. She took it in her hand and there it was,' The Will '

She sneered and her gaze turned cold. She transformed into a completely different person. Whoever saw her would feel a chill down their spine. Her aura froze the whole room the more she continued reading.

The Will was very beneficial to her but...hehe

She took a picture and put  everything back in place before going out the window but she didn't expect to see a certain someone squatting in the middle of the night.
