" What now? Do you want me to let go? "

" No " she shut up. His hands were firm ,strong and big he was such a cold person but his hands were so warm.

" Good ,I'll take you home now "

Tiger and Lightning sat in the car waiting for them. They both had weird looks on their faces. A look of admiration and respect. That's when Ivy realized Vance was still holding her and her ears turned red. Luckily it was dark and nobody noticed it.

" So where is Morris and Ripper?"

" They took Blackcat away but the person behind the scenes didn't show up" Vance replied.

" Vance " Ivy called out.

" Mm"

" Who really are you? " she finally asked the question that was on her mind "

He rubbed her hair lightly," The less you know the longer you live."
Forget it.

The car fell silent. "You will know in the future" he added.

So that meant she was included in his future? She could help but genuinely smile at that thought. He noticed her smile and looked out the window with curled lips.

The two in the front were busy communicating with their eyes, grinning from time to time.

Tiger: I have never seen president speak so many words before in one day.
Lightning: hehe he said you will know in the future my friend you know what I mean?
Tiger: Ahahah this is big new bro we need to share. This V guy is amazing I wonder how he did it.
Lightning: skills my friend skills, something you don't have, learn something
Tiger: sigh you are right ,but I'm not pleasing to the eye to president.
Lightning: true me neither so we must suck up to our saviour hehe, he grinned.
Tiger: right good idea hehe.

" I see you two enjoy looking at each others eyes, have you realised your feelings for each other? Or do you need help?" Vance looked at them and their smiles immediately disappeared and they both froze. What feelings? They looked at each other in disgust.
Ivy felt amused," are you guys like the Big Five or something?"

" Who are you calling the big five?" He tried sounding threatening which failed. Ivy burst out laughing including the two brothers infront. Vance for once found V's laughter pleasing to the ear and a satisfied smile bloomed on his handsome face.

Lightning: I told you bro, skills. They look at V with respect. If Ivy knew what they were thinking she would just roll her eyes, what skills , this is the power of beauty.

Tiger who was driving stopped infront of her apartment." We are here"
Ivy looked out the window, for some reason she didn't want to part with Vance, maybe it was because he could distract her from feeling lonely but she didn't feel she had the right to even ask. She sighed, opened the door, slowly releasing the hand she held" good night " she mumbled before walking away without looking back.

She didn't know how to react to the lack of warmth. Her back was sad and lonely," will he notice?" She asked herself then sadly laughed stop being naive Ivy.

Vance looked at his empty hands then suddenly felt annoyed. Something was telling him that if he didn't follow,he would regret it. " You can go don't wait for me"  he said before getting off the car and walking towards a restaurant.

Ivy took a quick shower before plugging the USB in the laptop. What she watched left her dazed. Are they dead or alive and the keys, what does it open. " Ahh! So confusing where do I start" she stood up but started breathing heavily, her head started aching and her vision started turning blurr finally her legs gave way but instead of meeting a cold floor she met a warm hug and a familiar mint scent. She naturally wrapped her hands around his neck and started sobbing.

"I have been ringing the doorbell and you are here kissing the floor, if I didn't break in would you have slept on the floor, damn it V stop getting me worried don't you know how to take care of yourself? Answer me!!"

After getting scolded she cried even harder. Vance was anxious, he had never been the one to comfort others. He just continued hugging her," okay enough stop crying I won't scold you anymore."

"How... could you sss... scold me you only know how to b...bully me you are bad, bad"

" I won't scold you, stop crying you look so ugly, your eyes are so big and scary you look like Fatman Don's illigetiment child"

She chocked and gradually calmed down," liar am so handsome "
He chuckled at her cute behaviour. "And hungry"

This time he laughed at her.
She felt embarrassed after all this was the first time she cried infront of someone. He carried her and placed her on the couch,a delicious aroma filled the room." Is that lasagna?"
" Yeah , eat up "he passed her the plate. She blinked her puffy red eyes," feed me ,I have no strength."
" Don't try your luck eat yourself"
Her eyes become watery and she pouted her lips, she was on the verge of tears. Looking at her pitiful face anyone would give in and Vance was no exception baby Ivy was just too cute. He helplessly began to feed her and also taking a bite or two. He knew that something bothered her so he didn't bother asking because he would find out and the person that hurt her would suffer worse. Nobody gets away for hurting someone that he Vance Lancastra cared about.

They both sat in silence up until Ivy spoke up," If you ever discover that someone who died was possibly still alive and you don't know whether that person is in danger or not would you bother falling in somebody's trap?" She asked.

"There is a possibility that there is a hidden truth. The question is would you live peacefully without knowing that truth?" He replied.
She fell silent.

" All you have to do is beat them in their own game, change the game and make it your own playground."
