Today Ivy wore a pair of jeans and a blue blazer, making her look like a refreshing young man. Her cold eyes made the guilty people inside shiver for they knew that today was their dooms Day.

The guest were none either then Miss Shina, Manager Leo and Mr lawyer. Ivy sat across Shina.

Shina started checking out Ivy. Isnt this the man who was laughing at me yesterday? His name is V Cruz, what is he doing here?

" Missy my eyes are here, am I that good looking you keep staring?"

Caught staring she averted her eyes then looked up in disdain, "where is your President"she asked.
Ivy ignored her question and got straight to the point" Everyone knows you are going to put all the blame on your weird manager so I won't listen to your nonsense. You messed with us and should have been cautious enough. Miss Shina if the manager under you can act on his own that shows just how much you are capable of right?"

Having ones hidden thoughts exposed, Shina wasn't happy and having her capabilities questioned she couldn't keep calm," Mr V, my subordinate did wrong and he will receive his punishment. You don't have the right to question me because you don't have evidence, why not deal with your own employees."

"Ohh don't worry about them after all if they can betray me so fast it shows how capable your subordinate is at convincing. where would he learn it from if not from the best. I don't have much time to waste with you, I should have been sleeping right now if not for you"

Shina"..."

Lawyer"..."

Leo"..."

"I only invited you over to warn you and to come to an agreement after all we are rivals in this business world but I don't have time for cheap people and their tricks. Instead of playing cheap tricks grow more brain cells and beat us in making money.  You can't steal respect you earn it, but I can't say the same for you. You enjoy back stabbing I don't know should I laugh or cry."

"Enough! I didn't come here to listen to your scolding" she slammed her hand on the table and stood up.

Ivy calmly looked at the nervous lawyer. " Mr Lawyer you deal with him" she pointed at Leo who was sweating.

The lawyer hurriedly nodded forgetting who he actually came to defend. The young man's aura was difficult for him to handle even after many years of experience.

Shina clenched her fist under the table and sat back down. "Come on let's start".
After their discussion and reaching a conclusion that pleased Ivy, Miss Shina left defeated. She bore the hatred and swore to topple Ivy next time.

Ivy cleanly dealt with all the traitors in her company and everything got settled. The projects continued without any interaption. The old foxes were frightened and got rid of their dillusions.

When Ivy reached home she tiredly threw herself on the bed. She stared at the starts by her window deep in thought. After some time she reached for a photo album. There was a picture of her holding the hands of both her mom and dad as she smiled happily. She was only 6 and she remembered it was one of those happy moments she spent with her parents. She almost forgot that feeling "happiness" after their car accident she lost all hope and almost gave up.

Aunt Lisa told her than that her parents died because they offended some big shot and had to pay for their sins but she didn't believe in that nonsense or else looking at who had more sins Lisa would top everyone in her family.  She never gave up on the investigation until now but lately she just...

Pain, longing and despair filled her beautiful eyes. It's been six years but the pain , hardship and suffering it brought felt like yesterday. She felt that something was about to happen but had no clue nevertheless it gave her a bad feeling. "Mom, Dad  am I a bad person?" She asked but only silence greeted her. A tear couldn't help but fall down her pale face," I just feel so tired sometimes, should I just...give up?" She hugged her legs and wept. The night felt so long and lonely.

With difficulty she eventually managed to fall asleep.

Next to that photo was a picture of a little Ivy standing next to a handsome little boy and on his neck was a similar silver necklace that Ivy wore before with a small V shaped letter on it.
