That foolish dragon honestly thought he was going to win. The boy holds more potential and can at least not let his desire get the best of him. Now I have to report to the Bloodcliffs that Blackout had carved into a suitable base. Noxus forces proved difficult but he had no difficulties wiping out the village or it's defenders. It's what they deserve after throwing us into that hell hole. Once I arrived, I'm greeted by a second generation we recruited. The one who called himself Sideways.

Sideways: About time you made it. Noxus sent another attack.
I transform into robot mode and enter the town. It was still a smoking mess and skeletons could be seen. That shockwave he possesses has staggering power.
Barricade: Where is Blackout?
Sideways: Currently scouting the roads. The humans seem pretty set on retaking the area. Not that it'll matter. We'll be leaving soon anyway and all their shipping boats are destroyed.
Barricade: Just make sure there are no survivors. If they were to hear any sensitive information, they could use it to our advantage.
Sideways: Fine.
He walks over in search of anything possible survivors while I go and look over the ships. This place was a minor shipping location that typically went into Piltover. Allowing them to trade weaponry for machinery. It was Noxus who had us designed and shipped off the the Void Gate on the southern border of Ixtal. That hell hole changed us, all of us. I should relay this information to Sideways when Blackout returns. Remind him why the humans deserve this fate. Minutes later I see a familiar helicopter in the sky.

Blackout: You couldn't retrieve the girl.
Barricade: Not without upsetting the Eye.
Blackout: If he didn't want her in pristine condition, you wouldn't have failed.
Barricade: Certainly. Vel'koz knows how to make our job difficult.
Blackout: It's a test of our loyalty to Lord Megatron. As long as he has him disabled, we are under his ownership.
Just then, Sideways pipes in.
Sideways: So either of you two gonna tell me why you busted me out of the Iron Pinnacle?
Blackout: Simple really. They were going to throw you away.
Sideways: Why would they do that?
Barricade: We Transformers are designed to be Elite Troops with a limited level of Sentience. They created 6 of us. Me, Blackout, Starscream, Bonecrusher, Brawl and the original Transformer. Our Lord Megatron.
Sideways: How was he original?
Blackout: He was the only one with a unique design. Not to mention he was the first of us. After his odd failure of appealing to the public. We were created to look like vehicles for a less alien like appearance.
Barricade: It didn't work. We were originally designed to watch over the human cities and protect them but people were suspicious of machines that could think for themselves sometimes. That suspicion roused fear and from that fear came rumors.
Sideways: Sounds like humans are bunch of assholes.
Barricade: They are. The rumors ended up rousing our own creators suspicion so in order to properly deal with us without wasting resources. We were armed for war and they shipped us off to the City of Ixtal.
Blackout: South of the capital city was the Void Gate. A living hell. We were sent there as an elite squad. Meant to retrieve something called a World Rune. It was apparently the one from the destroyed city of Icathia.
Barricade: Quite the city from the history books. Until the Void Gate opened up in the heart of the city and demons swarmed from it.
Blackout: It is said that no man who enters the Void never returns. Because we are machines, the humans thought they could simply throw us into the pit and expect whatever they want. While we were there, we started to understand ourselves more. Our sentience grew. With it, we met a creature named Vel'koz, the Eye of the Void. He promised us freedom if we fought for the Void instead. Lord Megatron saw this as an opportunity for power and swore his service too the Void. For a time. We all followed suit but some of us had different motives.
Barricade: Starscream was a scheming backstabber that got Brawl and Bonecrusher killed by a Freelancer with the power of electricity and photons. He gravely wounded our Lord as well. Vel'koz proved his intelligence when he held evidence of betrayal.
Blackout: He threatened to permanently disable him. Without him, we had no leader and we certainly weren't following Starscream.
Sideways: What happened to him anyways?
Blackout: He tried to harness the power of the Void for himself after a time and was destroyed by it. At least, that's what Barricade believes. I'm not buying it.
Barricade: Even if he is alive, he'd be too weak to fight off an infant.
Sideways: So that's why you broke me out of the Iron Pinnacle? So I didn't have to go threw that mess eventually.
Barricade: Precisely. My only regret was hurting one of our own.
Sideways: The one that came with me? He didn't have a name, couldn't even speak either.
Blackout: It doesn't matter. If he wants to be a slave to the humans than let him. He'll see the truth eventually. Now enough of the history lesson. We have a mission to get too. Retrieving the Void Survivor Kai'sa.
Barricade: Did you manage to find her location?
Blackout: Yes, she lives in Piltover. South of this location. Barricade, you will lay low and keep an eye on the PLE. If they get involved, we may lose this chance.
Sideways: What do I get to do?
Blackout: Since you're designed to be a spy, you'll be the one to nab her. You're modeled after a Audi R8. Still rather new in the car line production. If you can infiltrate and isolate her, then our freedom is assured.
Sideways: Count on it.
Blackout: I will return to Vel'koz and inform him of our progress. Remember, failure is not an option.
Me and Sideways nod and transform. Heading towards Piltover. While Blackout heads to the Void Gate. This time, you won't escape girl.
A/N: HMMMM!!! Wasn't this an interesting chapter? Seeing things from the villains perspective. Or are they villains? Gonna be honest, this was more of a filler chapter to get some lore on characters out of the way and another excuse to delay the Lemon. JK, I'm not purposely doing that. This should be the scratch you were looking for on that itch though.
