Chapter 62. The Clock is Ticking

Y/N POV

I'm suddenly shocked awake from what I just went threw. My eyes dart around the room, trying to figure out where I am. It was a white and orange room that had only a single entrance, a small camera in the corner and a table to my right with tools on them. Said tools looked more like they'll be used to pick my body apart of all its flesh. I tried to move but I find myself unable too. I quickly look and see that my limbs are restricted too the wall. The cuffs all had a slight glow to them, wasn't hard to tell what that meant. You see it all the time on nullifier equipment. I was pretty much stuck here. Just then the door opens up and in walks Giovanni with that Robot.

Y/N: What the hell is going on? Why did you attack me?

Giovanni: You are my subject. You have something I want. Something Runeterra needs.

Y/N: What are you on about?

Giovanni: Ra.

Ra: Initiating Torment Protocol.

Torment Protocol? Not even a second later, it shoved a syringe filled with black liquid into my neck, making sure to hold me in place as it was pumped into my system.

Giovanni: I simply need to bring it out. You resisted a level 3 dosage of my power. A level 5 dosage of it is a different story.

In no time at all my body was like an inferno and screams escaped from my lips. It felt as if my organs were being ripped apart inside of me and knives were stabbing at my brain. It wasn't long until my eyes saw very different things. The whole room was black and painted with blood, freshly made corpses littered the room. Before me stood the two figures again. Laughing at me.

Giovanni: Oh look at him Ra. Doesn't he look like a little child got spooked by the monster under his bed?

Ra: Yes master, yes master. Spooked child, monster beneath bed. Hehehehaaa....

Y/N: L-let me go!

Giovanni: Ooooh~! Such a cute little stutter. I can't wait to make you scream~. Ra be a good boy and 'prepare' the main course.

Ra: Main course, yes master. Yes~.

He goes over to the table and picks up this tendril like stick that had a row of eyeballs on it. It made my spine shiver. The bird brought it up to my torso and one of the the eyes stretched out and bit down on me. It felt like a thousand miniature blades dug into my skin and began to spin like a chainsaw. It wasn't enough for me to scream but I sure as hell wanted to. It was almost like I was being muffled.

Giovanni: Oh I love the tough ones! Lets try something else. Ra, use..... this one!

He picks up a blooded hook that had this ominous glow to it.... Wait I know that hook! Ra takes the hook and turns to me, a gut twisting smile on his face.

Ra: Bleed him slowly~. Char the wounds~. HehehehehehaHAAAA!

This was only the beginning of a nightmare...

Giovanni POV

Subject has been screaming for the past 3 minutes. Good lungs, I'll need to consider earplugs for later personal experimentation. Ra has done little too him, merely holding objects close to him. He is currently in the Upside Down of my powers. There, his mind will be subjected to agonizing torture but feel little of it. That feeling is multiplied by a factor of 40 or so for his actual body. This will do little damage to his body while destroying the mind. Once his fear has reached appropriate levels, anger will begin to take over. That will bring out the source of what I want. Then we can begin extraction.

Subject has also begun crying and calling out names. There were many. The Police Chief and her assistants, the K/DA band and two I have heard little about. Marco and Sera? He's already in a desperate state of mind.

Giovanni: Cease action.

Ra: Orders - Received /// Ceasing Protocol.

Ra pulls away and we both walk out and into the corridor.

Giovanni: Return to Stasis for recharge. I will have new orders for you soon.

Ra: Action - Question /// Why did we cease protocol?

Giovanni: The subject was entering a dangerous state of mind. Should his heart rate flatline, we could possibly lose him. We may have to equipment to jump start his heart but it can fail. He'll be in recovery for a time.

Ra: Following Repair Protocol.

He goes off to the stasis chamber room on sub level 5 while I return to my office on sub level 2 and begin taking notes.
