Chapter 39. A Friend Indeed

Seraphine POV

It had only been a day but it felt like years. All the girls seem to lack interest in everything and mostly just worried. Eve was trying her best to hold it together, Ahri hadn't smiled since he was taken and Akali didn't eat any of her Ramen cups since she had grown so use to his recipe. Kai'sa took this the worst though. She almost never left her room and when she did, she never spoke a word. She would just give us a pained stare. Though I believed in Y/N and knew he'd pull threw like he always does, even I was beginning to feel a little hopeless. Probably just this atmosphere. Luckily I had an idea. I made a call just a few minutes ago and set up a little gang party. I made my way to Evelynn who was sitting on the coach. Clearly fuming with anger.

Sera: Hey Eve? You okay enough to talk?

Eve: And what would make you think I'm not?

Yeah, she was defiantly not okay enough to talk but I have to do it no matter how stupid it may seem.

Sera: I was wondering if we could go out. Meet up with True Damage. Do something fun with them.

Eve: They're still here in Piltover? I thought they were leaving today.

Sera: I called them a few minutes ago too see if they were. Turns out they got into some sort of problem with their schedule and had to stay a little longer. Sona is apparently still in town too.

Eve: Marco really has charmed that girl.

Sera: I'm sure he doesn't care.

Eve: He'll come around eventually. Very well, I'll see if the others are good enough to go. This has hit them pretty bad so don't get your hopes up.

I nod and she walks off to get the others. I quickly dial up Marco too see how things are coming along.

Sera: Hey Marco-

Sona: Hi Sera!

Marco: Do you have to do that every time?

Sona: You don't really try to stop me.

Marco: Like how no one stopped you from permanently cosplaying Hatsune Miku.

Sona: Ha ha.

Sera: Enough playing around you two. How are things coming along?

Marco: Smoothly. Hopefully they like it. Yasuo rented the whole place out with his own money. Ekko is currently praying this works cause they apparently made some stupid money bet.

Sona: They always do that.

Sera: Well I'd hate to not make it interesting. I'll let y'all know when we're coming.

Marco: Cya in a bit maybe.

The call ends and I turn to see Akali standing there. I hope she didn't hear the...

Akali: Rent what exactly?

Crap Baskets...!

Sera: Something that'll cheer everyone up.

Akali just raises her eyebrow.

Sera: Look, everyone is pretty upset he's gone but if we sit around moping all the time, we'll get nothing done. Is that what he would want us to do?

She looks away before nodding.

Akali: Have you ever fallen in love with someone...?

Sera: Hm?

Akali: Sorry... It just doesn't feel like home without him here. There was something about him that just made things perfect.

Sera: The fact he's always trying to cheer y'all up and keep you safe?

Akali: Yeah... Don't you feel like it's missing too?

Sera: It's different between us Rogue. You're in love with him whereas I'm just his friend. We've known each other for a long time too. There are days when we didn't want to be near each other. Obviously, this isn't one of those times but during those times, we did find comfort while we were away. We always missed each other but we got use to that cause in the end, he always promised me he'd come back. Just be patient and have a little hope.

I finish it up with a hug that she was quick to return. After we separated, the other 3 walk in.

Evelynn: You know, you never did answer her first question.

Sera: Eh...?

Akali: yeah you didn't.

Ahri: Anyone in particular???

All of them except Kai'sa leaned in, waiting for an answer. This is normally the part where Y/N says...

Sera: Yare yare daze.

K/DA: Huh?

Well here we are. Yasuo rented out the whole Theme Park. The girls were blown away by this act.

Yasuo: Looks like they all came. You know what that means.

Ekko: I was sure as hell Akali and Maybe Ahri wouldn't come.

Ekko then starts fiddling with his phone. I think he was transferring his money to Yasuo's account. Qiyana couldn't help but chuckle.

Senna: So what do you girls wish to do first? It's all yours after all.

Akali takes a quick glance at everyone before bolting off screaming 'Rip off Splash Mountain'.  We all couldn't help but laugh at her childish antics. Everyone ran off to do their own things but I kept with Kai'sa since she still seemed bothered. I hope this'll work, even only for a little bit. She ends up going to the Ferris Wheel first. Little fact, this Theme Park is in the higher parts of the city so you can actually see all of Piltover from the Ferris Wheel. We get inside the cart and it starts going up. Kai'sa never says a word so I do what I always do. Be a Friend.

Sera: Hey Bokkie. I know you're upset but please don't be. He wouldn't want you to worry about him.

Kai'sa: I know but....

I wrap my arm around her and start swaying her.

Sera: Remember something that got you interested in Y/N? It's something you two have in common.

Kai'sa: We dance...

Sera: So what do you think he's doing when he takes a shower?

Kai'sa: Is that why he takes so long?

Sera: Hehe. You hit the nail on the head. You'd be surprised what he listens too.

Kai'sa: R-really?

Sera: What's the first song on your place list?

She finally looks at me, her eyes wide with wonder.

Kai'sa: Good Time by Owl City featuring Carly Rae Jepsen.

I give her a big smile. It became one of his favorites during a dance session with her. Honestly, the song compliments them both.

Sera: Because when he dances, it's always a good time for him. I guarantee you he's going to play that song extra loud when he gets the chance to shower.

She giggles a little. I should really thank Y/N for being stubborn sometimes. I remember a time when I was just like Kai'sa. So shy and easy to upset but because he was there for me, I was able to grow. It just takes a little bit of nurturing. I think enough of it rubbed off on me.

Sera: When we get down, how about we both go and join the others. Y/N would want us to have a good time.

Kai'sa Mhm..... You're right. Sorry for making you worry.

I nuzzle my head against hers and boop her. I know things are still bothering her so I'll have to stay by her side. We all will. After all, a Friend in need is a Friend indeed. The Ferris Wheel finally comes to an end and we get off. After that we meet up with Marco who seems to be nervously looking around.

Sera: Everything alright?

Marco: No, Sona isn't anywhere and I feel like I'm about to get pranked.

Kai'sa: With....?

Sona: A Water Gun to the ass!

Marco immediately rolls out of the way and books it while Sona chases him.

Sera: Least shes having fun. I don't know about Marco though.

Ekko comes running up to us.

Ekko: Either of you two seen Eve?

Kai'sa: No, is something wrong?

Ekko: Okay, that's kinda good and bad at the same time. See here, we were all grabbing some food at a snack stand and-

Evelynn appears behind him.

Eve: And someone decided to spill his ice cream all over her outfit.

Ekko screams like a little girl and attempts to run but Eve catches him with her lasher. I had to take a moment to recover from the scream cause that was hilarious.

Kai'sa: Eve, don't you think you can be a little easy on him. Maybe it was just an accident.

Eve: There are no accidents.

Ekko: Don't you quote Kung Fu Panda on me now!

And that was the last inch in the grave. She drags him off, no doubt for an ass kicking. Y/N got off easy for the mud bits cause she loves him. Ekko isn't that lucky. In fact, from how things trend with their group, Ekko would be pegged as the unlucky one. After a while Sona is seen running away, absolutely soaked.

Sona: I didn't mean it!

Marco then goes chasing after her with an big fucking water gun.

Marco: You started this war and I plan to end it!

Sona then runs behind me and Kai'sa. Marco then stops and aims directly at us.

Marco: If you know what's good for you. You'll step aside and hand over the enemy.

Kai'sa goes to respond but as she does something catches her attention. We all look in the direction to see.... Nothing. I then felt a hand grip my wrist and start dragging me off until we were literally flying.

Sona: How did that work!?

Kai'sa: No one would suspect I'd do it.

This is going to be a long day. A very fun day. If I had known we'd have water guns, I'd have told Yasuo to do the water park instead.

Logan: Just a fun little chapter too get you all to feel good before I inevitably crush it. Also, I'm curious about something. In League, who of these characters are good? Thresh, Kassadin or Kayn. These would be 3 I would highly consider playing if I ever got into League. I would not mind having a discussion about this cause I do have a stirring interest.
